what about graphics driver? When you upgraded to XP, did you format completely?

I just installed Flaming Cliffs with all the updates. Wow, what a different game! Unfortunatley the game still crashes to desktop - but only when in campaigns. Game appears to be stable when in tutorials , missions and mission editor. My XP install was clean to a freshly formatted disc & graphics card has lattest driver. Anybody got any ideas?

I bought lock-on on the first date it was on the shelves but I ever played it. I installed the two patches. My problem is that when i load a saved game the game will freeze and when i choose the aircraft outside view the aircraft doesn't appear. I have an Amd 1500+ 1.34 GHz 512 Mb ram Ge force 5200 Fx

KidCraswell, I too used to suffer the same thing,Do you have "AC97" audio? try disabling "sound acceleration" in Control Panel this stopped my crashes.Also if you can get "Flaming Cliffs" the game seems to run better for me using this. Hang in there, There are some exellent people on this forum.
