Hi, we have two copies of flanker 2.5 and want to play on a lan connection via a BT home hub. My question is how do we do this? when we connect up, via IP and WAN only one of us can fly, the other seems to always be a ground controller. I've tried adding a fragment when connected as the guest, but then still can't fly it. What am I doing wrong??
Also, is Flanker 2.5 and Lock-On the same thing or something completely different?? Please excuse my ignorance! Any help greatly appreciated Cheers, Mrsbex |

Cant hekp you with any Flanker 2.5 questions as I never had that, I only have Lockon.
My understanding is that Lockon uses some legacy stuff from F2.5, but added so much new content that there is really no comparison and it is far beyond being regarded as a F2.5 upgrade. Lockon adds a load more flyables: Lockon has A-10, F-15, Su-25, Su-27, Su-33 and 3 versions of MiG-29. Whereas F2.5 just had the Crimea terrain, Lockon upgraded the Crimea and added a big chunk of the Caucasus - mostly Russian territory, but some Georgian territory including Abkhazia. Having said that, I know that some folks did add back in the F2.5 versions of some naval ships that were removed for Lockon. Saw some screenshots, the F2.5 ships looked so-so compared to the Lockon ships which were detailed models. Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum.... |
