I see I'm not the only one with input issues.

I have a Saitek X45 and cannot get most functions to work. Have used it with older games like Jane's F-15 and works fine, so not the stick and throttle.

I select the settings for the stick on the Options page, but in game play cannot fire, select weapons/target, control thrust, or even stay in level flight in Novice mode. Go back to options page and see that none of the settings have taken. All have reverted back to default settings. Very, very frustrating. Have had game for 3+ years. Bought flight stick and throttle to play the game, but both game and flight controls have been on shelf collecting dust because of this most iritating problem. I'm sure it something simple, but have not figured it out yet. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a problem with my regular joystick untill I calibrated it in windows.
