Hi. I have a wide screen monitor with a rezolutoin of 1440x900. When I play the game, whether I set the game rezolution to 1024x768 or 1440x900 the image does not maintaint proportions. It is deformed. If in the first case (1024x768) this is because of the monitor auto adjustments, in the second case it's the game that doesn't maintain the proportions... Do you think you could make the graphics engine to display the image correctly regardless of the aspect ration of the monitor?

Hi geniusc,

I have had the same isue and I went to this forum in order to get some clues.

I didn't find anything but I understood enough to find the solve by myself !

That seems to be a program bug (even after the patch 1.2) where wide screens are not taken in account, even if you specify the right resolution (i.e. specific to wide screen)

You can fix it by opening (with wordpad, for example) a fale called "graphic.cfh" ("config" directory). So, modify the line "aspect = " (after "simulation") by the right ration (for example 1.77777778 insted of 1.333333332, if you have a TV monitor). Rhen, save the mofided file and run the game.

Please note thaht you nedd to NOT MODIFY the config inside the game, because each time you make any change, the config file is overwritten and the "aspect" modification is lost !

PS : Because, now, you can see larger, you can modify rhe view angle by 90 degrees instead of 60 degrees.
And now, enjoy !
