um, by unpacking do you mean that command propmt comes up at starts making a list of the patches files? Cuz it sounds like your doing everything all right, thats how i got my patch, have you seen what version you have already? There are two LOMAC's that come straight from the box, v1.00 & v1.02.

I think wags94 meant there are two LOMAC's that come stright out the box - v1.00 and v1.01 A few of the final manufacturing runs of LOMAC CD's were v1.01, but the vast majority were v1.00, so when you patch LOMAC up to its latest patch level (v1.02) make sure you either use patch v1.00 -> v1.02 or v1.01 -> v1.02 depending on what your CD is. When you first load up LOMAC look at the initial main menu screen - bottom right (next to the clock)is an fake altimeter if it has a box with v1.01 in it, then guess what? you have v1.01, but if it has no box then you have v1.00 After you patch up to v1.02 I am sure you are already way ahead of me and can guess that it will say v1.02 in the box...... Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
