Everytime I play this game it plays fine for about 5 minutes and then it starts to stutter. It freezes and un-freezes over and over, sorta like my frame rate goes from 40fps to 1fps, just at random and it doesn't matter where I am at. Sometimes it will un-stutter, sometimes I give up after a few minutes and just quit the game or sometimes I end up in the ground because I am unable to steer the plane when it has a stutter episode.
How do I fix this?!? I've un-installed, re-installed and I had the same issue on another windows install many years ago. I searched the forum and I am either not putting in the right search term or I am the only one having this problem. I am using LOMAC ver. 1.02 My system: Athlon 64 1.8Ghz/3000+ 1gb of RAM nVidia 6600 Windows XP with the latest updates and nothing else running in the background (disabled all those pesky background apps with MSCONFIG) and I defragged the HD after install of the game and patch. Hi! I have exactly the same problem after I have just installed an MSI Nvidia 6800. It was perfect before using an Asus 6800 which recently burnt out so had to be replaced. Which Forceware are you using? Is yours an MSI card? |
