Hi have a problem with controlling the plane's pitch up and down especially with the 2 US planes. I am not using a joystick but jus my up and down arrow keys, when i hit the Down Arrow key to pitch the plane up, it goes all the way up (facing the sky) and i have to interrupt by hitting the Up Arrow key to stop it from going all the way up, but when i do this, the plane now goes all the way down (facing ground). Imagine visual landing in this condition. Would appreciate help of anykind to sort this out!
Cheers... |

I can't imagine trying to fly anything in Lockon with a keyboard - get yourself a stick, even a really cheap one is miles better than the frustration you doubtless have trying to fly the keyboard....

I have the same problem and I use the CH fighterstick and Throttle. Have you figured out how to fix it.

With the CH, its easy, just assign trim controls to the castle switch on the stick. This will be necessary for all LOMAC aircraft, except the F-15...it has autotrim.

I believe I know the answer to the problem you're describing, as the same thing happened to me when I first started playing the game about a week ago. There's a feature on the American planes that keeps the altitude constant. By default, this feature is toggled on and off by pressing the H key. I think the Russian planes may have it as well, but I never encountered it in the training modes.
Anyway, give it a shot...it may help! |
