I bought this game and am having trouble getting the plane to fire anything, cannon or rockets. when i first installed it i just used the keyboard, only keys that would work were my F view keys & numberbad & Q key for flares. I got the update patch didnt help, I put a joystick on it in options it picked it up, i seleted it, clicked the red lights "Flight, view & combat" to make sure what buttons did what & hit ok at bottom, i could fly with the stick but that was all. I downloaded the SST program for my saitek 290pro joystick, profiled it & run it , run mygame, nothing changed.
this is very confusing, i would think that besdides a joystick u should be alble to play this with a keyboard. I toggle my weapons with & hit space & enter either one wouldnt fire.

Did you read the PDF manual in the Lock On/Doc folder? And you may want to try the lockon.ru forums for more specifics on that joystick as well.

Yes i have, i also looked at both keycards there to. & i've been on several forums, even wrote ubi in there support & they told me same thing, "Look at manuel".
Well the PDF even says that u should be able to fire the cannon without radar locking onto a target. I cannot. I hit D to toggle weapons & spacebar to fire? well it dont work . I hit enter also in hopes i guess.
take the joystick away & it is the same.
I've tried all i know.

I wanted to make sure that it wasnt my joystick. So i uninstalled it . I should be able to work the controls wiht the keyboard? well same ones work & sames ones dont.
I hit C to enable -disable cannon & space to fire, doesnt work, i lock on to target, hit D to toggle weapoons, they dont toggle much less fire.
I hit I to toggle my Radar, it does nothing.
Again only things that work are my numberpad keys to change cockpit views, & my Fkeys for Views, & my Q key dispenses flares.

Oh & someone told me to try enter to fire instead of space, that also doesnt work either.
