Hey guys,
This is my first time opening ports so I'm not exactly sure how to do it right. I did go on to a couple websites (portforward.com) to follow instructions but I still have some questions.
What I did was I first went to my control panel, then to Security Center, then to Windows Firewall, then to Allow Program Through Windows Firewall, then to Add Port, and then I entered all of the appropriate Hawx ports manually:

LAN

TCP
7788

UDP
7789-7790
7589 for session discovery

ONLINE

TCP
3074-3174 - outbound
3155 - outbound
3163 - outbound

UDP
1001,7788 - inbound/outbound
3074-3174 - inbound / outbound (at least one in this range, preferably 3074)

Is this all that I had to do, or do I also need to go to control panel and setup a Static IP address? If I do need to setup a Static IP address, what Static IP should I choose? I am unclear about which to choose because I do not know what the other Hawx online user's IP addresses are, so how do I choose one that they will never be issued. If you guys can tell me what to do, it would be awesome. Thanks!

Are you inquiring about HAWX or Far Cry 2?

Ubisoft technical support cannot provide support for home networks. An excellent resource for your questions is www.portforward.com

You may find the information you need at that website.
