hey guys i recently purchased a copy of the old far cry becuase it looked interesting and i wanted to play it. but!!! i cant.. 2 problems

1: i cant findthe place on the site to register the serial key

2: when i try to go on campaign every time it starts to load the map it crashes.

i tried installing direct x 9 and all that **** but it didnt work

plz plz plz post ways on how to fix this

I have the same problem with you, but I don't either know what to do...If I get to know how to, I'll tell you too.

You only need to CD key to play online. The single player campaign works without the key but with the Far Cry CD1 or DVD in your optical drive.

If you are having problems running the game, it may be because you have not installed the patch. download and install 1.3 for single player and 1.4 for multiplayer.
