Last week i replaced my old GeForce 7800GS with a brand spanking new Sapphire HD 3850 AGP.
Its an awesome powerful card but to my dismay Far Cry seems to have been shot to pieces.

At first i couldnt get it to start, it would hang either at startup or when i tried to get into the options menu, and then i found a thread saying to set light quality to "high", that worked... unfortunatley the shaders seem totally screwed up, water is non-reflective and multicolored and specular and bumpmapping as well as HDR won't work at all.

Am i totally doomed never to play Far Cry again or is there a solution to this madness?
