I used to play Far Cry using Daemon Tools and installing the game with CD's. When I did this, I would always go into the program folder and find a special icon that looked like the F and the C that come from the first letter of the words "Far" and Cry" respectively. I loved this icon. It looked much better than the bland looking "Jack Carver" head icon that is the default to appear for the desktop launch shortcut.

The reason I'm posting this, is because I just recently installed Far Cry through the Steam client. All self contained now. Steam does the updating, patching and downloading of the game. No cd's, no Daemon tools, no more quirks of problems. Runs flawlessly right after download.

But my little "FC" icon is not there anymore. I went into the program folder for Far Cry in my Steam folder and it was not there.

Anyone know where to find this icon, or if you have it, can you please upload it to a host and give me a link to DL it?

Right click on the Jack Carver head and select properties. Click on "change icon..." and the FC icon should be there.

Sorry scoops, but that is exactly what I did, and it's not. It is not in the programs folder, that's why I posted this thread here, to see if someone knows of "somewhere else" I can get it. Keep in mind, I am using a copy of Far Cry I purchased through "Steam" (which is new there) and the game was downloaded from "Steam".

Maybe you could send it to me via email or upload it real quick to a host like photobucket or rappidshare? Or maybe you know of another place I can find it online...

I do apologize. The "FC" folder icon was there, but hidden. Strange. When I went into the program folder for Far Cry, all I saw for icon's was the head of Jack Carver; when I actually clicked on it, and it bumped me back to the change icon window, there was the "FC". It must be a secondary part of the icon file that is just not visible, but will appear when summoned.
