I installed the game recently for the first time. After instalation it worked pretty much fine. I the installed the 1.4 patch and all was good. After setting everything in the game to maximum i wanted to make the game look even better so i found some unofficial patch which was suposed to make HDR and AA work together. I extracted the files to game directory, ran the game and this is when all hell broke loose..

Loaded my profile, game was all weird like my gun was going through trees in the distance and all kind of weird graphics stuff. So naturally I reinstalled the game, only to find the same thing happening again. Tried a second time, this time removing the 1.4 patch fist, then the game, then the game's folders (backed up the profile). same thing.. finally i tried removing the profile all together and starting over. So now i started the game, and finally it loaded and looked ok AFAIK, but now my mouse doesnt work! it works fine in the menu of the game, but in game it's just dead, buttons and movement.
As if this wasn't enough, the game now takes about 3 mins to load, and another 2 mins to load the saved game (disk activity slows down, cpu usage ~0%)??
Needless to say, I've spent the better part of the day pulling my hair out. Please help!

CPU: AMD Athlon64 4000+
GPU: GF 8600GTS 512MB
HDD: 2x seagate 80GB (raid 0)
RAM: 2GB DDR dual channel

All other games are working fine, including crysis.

Well i fixed the game. it works fine now... but the loading times are still huge!
What is wrong with this game? when i install v1.0 it loads in seconds, when i update to anything else, it take forever (up to a couple minutes before actually playing). I've got crysis loading 15 times faster than this game whats up?
