I downloaded the file from both Fileplanet and somewhere else. I open it with WinRAR (winzip sucks) and I see the FarCry Install folder, I open it up and see:

data1.cab
data2.cap
data1.hdr

When I go to extract it I get:

C:\Documents and Settings\Buxaroo\Desktop\FarCry_Setup.zip: Either multipart or corrupt ZIP archive


OK, someone enlighten me on how in the hell you isntal this? I registered on Ubisoft's site of course....but where to go from here?

Is there soem kind of extractor program that I have to download from Ubisoft or something? If this download is not corrupt then it's pretty stupid not having a README file or something

Your download is corrupt.
There should be a setup .exe in there and apparantly isn't.
Redownload it and see what happens.

Well I got this through Fileplanet. I saw that the file was corrupt, at least thats what I thought at first, then went to Gamershell or soem other place and same zip file was showing the same files in there. I DESPISE Fileplanet to the extreme....dumb *******s charge for their "service" and you still get **** downloads...I am on Comcast cable so it's not my end, I download through USENET all the time with ZERO corruptions.

I will try it again but this will be the last time I ever use Fileplanet or any other download center...bit torrent and USENET for the win.
