Well the Subject says it all.. I started FarCry 2 after install and want to try it online. There it said, You need to create a ubisoft account to play online.. then i did so.. then i go back to the farcry 2 and gonna create a online account.. BUT, what the hekk is online key? its not the serial cuz ut wont write numbers in the online key bar.. so whats my online key? :S This is some ****.. Please help? im begging u guys..

i have the same problem... but serial should be the online key. i have the problem that i always get the message that the server is down and my profile cretion was failed

when typing in you online key (cd key) you mustuse your number pad not the numbers on top of key board, also dont confuse O letter with 0 number and insert dashed in the key segments

I have to trawl the forums to find out your programmers are not capable of using the top row of keys on the keyboard ....

ok guys i no i am talking a lil bit off the topic but ive got the black screen problem buttttttttttttttttttt there is a way 2 solve online key problem i have only noticed this today . wat u have 2 do is after u actviate ur far cry 2 by viewing the cd key which is located after u right click far cry 2 in my games tab. alright after uve activated ur far cry 2 if u wanna go online games right click far cry 2 and it will still say view cd key click that again and it should come up with a tab thing tht says "far cry 2 cd key" in the top left corner then it says
"This is your multiplayer CD key for far cry 2.You will have to enter this key after the game has launched.Write the key down or press the 'Copy to clipboard button now." then a bit lower down it should say "FC2-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX" but instead of the letter x it should say different letters and tht is ur online key. under where it says ur online key it should have a button saying "copy key to clipboard" click that or write down ur online key on a peice of paper then open far cry 2 and click multiplayer then type in ur account username and password then below that type in the cd key or just right click then paste. and thats how u go online pplay i havent been able 2 do this yet since i have the black screen but i assume its ur best option and also im pretty sure thats how its done. o and btw i think once u put in the cd multiplayer key thts the only time u have 2 put it in bcoz i think its like activating like u do when u buy a game off of steam good luck guys hope this helps u

Yeah, exactly, why do we need the key if we got the game alredy? I mean, seriously, it's weird, and you can't play any game online without it
why... just WHYYYYYYY I've made so many maps alredy and I Can't play them online

What the hell are you actually kidding me? So your telling me that now after buying the game I cant play it online because i don't have a num pad thats just effing retarted. Guys... Look's like I found that "Online key"...
But, now I entering a "ERROR PASSWORD" but i write my password but he says "ERROR PASSWORD" why? And Online key under a disk at his BOX needed write FC2-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX there CAN HELP ( - ) write with ( - ) and maybe it can help...
