I downloaded the free far cry game off fileplanet.
I used to own the game and never had problems, but I gave it to a friend.
I ran the installer, rebooted, than ran the patch v1.4 full.

The free DL is already patched to 1.4 and the patch is probably not compatible with the installation. (The folder structure is different)

Max sig footprint is now 500x150 pixels

Does this mean I have to reinstall the game? If so how would I backup my progress in singleplayer mode?
