Haiii,

I was trying to get into the multiplayer today and it askes me for an online key? Not sure what it is. >_< After having not put one in and pressed "login" it comes up with "you inserted the wrong CD key" I search the CD for something, but i find nothing at all.

How do i find it? Where?

Thankies.

That doesn't really mean anything to me. Can't you just tell me where to get it? >_<

The Online/CD key are the same, you can find it on the back of the book that came with the game.

Shoot, nevermind. The product key worked, the #'s didnt enter so I thought the code was only 6 characters long. Never seen numpad specific typing before.

Oh wow someone needs to use google, product key and CD key is the SAME thing, always have been!! The key you have does both it is the only combination of numbers and letters that is broken up with -. you get just one and thats used to install and activate. Next time you get a D2D game and ask a question like this and someone says CD key you will know what they are talking about.

And rat905, are you that bloody ignorant? you asked where to find it and mentioned the CD key in your post i answered the 2 are the same. If you cannot figure that out please do the techs of this world a favor and give your PC to someone a tad more intuitive.

As for inserting the wrong key try using a zero instead of an o as in "oops" Ubi decided to use a font that uses the same for 0 and o.

Don't insult us if Ubi was too stupid to not name them the same in both areas making it as confusing as absolutly possible. Try reading your question for review and then the answer.

Right, JET-WTF.

**** right off, please.

I know that the O is the 0, I figured that out ages ago.

Also, i have a life, unlike you. I asked nicely, and SOME people replyed nicely.
You might expect me to know everything about the game but this wasn't writen in the manual. And I do know how to use my computer.
>__< If you want to argue, I will put you against one of my friends who knows more than you and about 5 other people put together.

Thanks for the people that reply'd nicely.

In Jet_WTF's defense, we are tired of answering this very question. So many of you people come here and stand with your hand outstretched like gimme gimme, instead of actually looking for an answer.

This is probably the #1 most answered question here, and thet little search function here works wonders. I have given up on answering these silly questions that could easily be found with a little 'do it yourself' effort. If people are so ignorant or lazy as to not even look before asking, I dont answer anymore.

You wrote the answer yourself in the OP. When you did your experiment Ubi answered the question for you. You just didnt think to try the key Ubi provided at that point wich wouldve been succcessful.
