data3.cab

I just pulled it in from Gamershell (1GB/s DL in the UK)
There is no data3.cab... It works fine.
What makes you think you need a data3.cab?

Same...signed up at ubi.com, entered United States for country and my real zipcode. I'm also Verizon DSL, so if they're checking by IP, it should be a U.S. IP address as well, so not sure what's going on.

Same here. Also Verizon DSL, for what it's worth. I'm clearly in the US, by any number of ways they're trying to tell. Just hope I don't have to redownload the whole thing again if a "fix" comes along.

I am having the same "Unamerican" issue, and likewise cannot figure out why. I'm running off of Roadrunner cable, so the problem is not limited to Verizon.

Actually, I just got this e-mail, which may well explain the problem-
quote:
Thank you for downloading one of the promotional PC titles made available for ad-supported freeplay over the Labor Day weekend. The promotion is now closed and it is no longer possible to play the games for free.

I would have had this installed already had I not had other issues w/my Ubi.com account (unreasonable ones at that- my old account had been TerranUp16, but I swapped over to this b/c it no longer recognized my password nor did it allow me to change it).
