First off, here is my system specs.

Nvidia BFG Tech GeForce 8800 GT Over Clocked SLI Edition

First off, I'd like to say that I picked this game up because it was a mere ten dollars and it looked classic. Im addicted.

Game crashes in first level right before I get to the camp. The Message was Highlighted as Critical but I could not read it, and when I canceled the process that wans't responding, it went away. I wish I had more information..

Saw one instance of screen tear also.. Other then that the game was running like a charm!

please help I want to play! I also downloaded 1.4 Cumaltive and it said it was already newer version or w/e..

Made it all the way to where you start off your next mission in the inflatable boat something about getting a satellite not sure.. Then crash.. They appear to be random, I know it isn't my graphics card or my processor, or my ram. Also no instances of screen tearing either..

I'm just curious why so many problems >.<

Ok I am now in the mercenary camp after hang gliding.. No crashes as of yet, but a few close calls. It will appear as if the game is about to crash ( Subject to freeze ) and then snap out of it.. Also, a few more instances of screen tearing.

Few questions as well, do any people really play this online? I would enter a server play, then come out try to join a different one, unable to load map ( Im guessing because I need a map pack ) Then I will join another server and it will say my CD key is in use ( I'm guessing because it is still showing me as in the game I couldn't join? )

Also is this supported through game spy or anything I could play with more players? I realize it's an older game but I'm just curious

Online player numbers were never huge and is now dwindling but you might be able to find a game. Yes, you will need a map pack or two or three.

You are correct about the CD key issue.

The crashes, I can't say why. Your machine is more than good enough. If I had to guess, I'd say Vista is using too much of the 2 GB of RAM.
