The ~ key is the command for the console. It will not work for me. PLEASE HELP!!!! I read a post on here acouple of days ago.....and someone was saying that it had something to do with a plug in for windows media player. I am not sure how to disable it so I can use my console command. I have windows vista.....and need your help please!!!!

Opening the console is bound to the key left of the 1 key upper left corner probably using the scancode so what character/symbol it is depends on your current keyboard layout, but it should be the same key regardless. If this does not work try a different input language (usually you can toggle with CTRL+SHIFT).

The same problem for me. I have windows Vista Ultimate 32 OEM and i can´t open my console command, with xp i had not that problem, i can´t become to win xp because my gpu is having problems with xp. Can someone help me?
