Alright, so I finished all APR missions, and then finished 2 of the UFLL missions. I decided to find all diamonds next, along with all the lost buddies and safe houses. Now, I finished all the buddy missions only to find that the UFLL door is locked. I saved downstairs in the UFLL HQ and exited the game. I am playing on ps3, and have NO game saves prior to the door closing. Does anyone have a fix? because I really dont want to find 112 diamonds again.

I can't understand why anybody would play an extremely long single player game like FC2 and not have at least a few saved games in case something were to happen to their newest save file.

As far as I know, you will not be able to continue from your last save. You've run into the buddy missions bug. It has been one of the biggest issues for this game's single player and has been reported on these forums for quite some time.

I was able to recreate the bug on my PC version of the game by doing the following: I had a total of 4 buddies on my buddies list. I went to Mike's Marina Bar and did every mission for every buddy on my list. After a while the UFLL gave me a mission to rescue another hostage(buddy). After completing the rescue mission, I then had a total of 5 buddies. Soon afterward, I had another buddy mission available at Mike's Marina Bar from the 5th buddy. So I went and did a mission for him. Right after completing his mission, I found that the UFLL door was open upstairs, but the characters were all standing there completely unresponsive. So I couldn't get a mission and therefore could not continue the storyline. I still had another mission available from Mike's Bar from my 5th buddy, so I went and did a 2nd mission he had to offer. After completing that 2nd mission for him, I went back to the UFLL once again (since there were no missions available at the APR). After going inside, I found that the door upstairs was now closed, and no more missions were available at Mike's Bar after that. I was at 73% and could only continue the game by loading a save file that I made before taking any missions from my last buddy.

Could you give some details of your buddy history. Like how many you have, how many of them did you find by just exploring the game world vs. how many you rescued for the APR\UFLL? Only 1 of the buddies on my list was found during exploration. Also, what percentage are you at?

I am at 27% in the game, I have all six buddies found in the northern sector. I found one (josip) near a crashed plane sight, and I found Marty locked up at the slaughterhouse (not the first mission, I found him by exploring). The spanish lady is my best friend, and the indian man is my 2nd best friend. I did all missions for them. Oh, and I did all possible missions. Tower and all. And, as I have mentioned, Iv'e found all diamonds in the northern sector, but i haven't found all safe houses or scouted all all outposts.
