During the second traning mission after taking the tower, i lose my 1st person view of my weapons. i have my sight icon, nothing fires. my system is xp sp2, nvidida 7300gt, 80 gig hard drive, 1 gig ram. I have wanted to play this forever so help please

If you are near a ladder, move away. Try changing weapons. Also, is this repeatable in the same place every time?

I have this same problem.
It happens suddenly.
I just can't shoot. If I change weapeon, weapon won't show to hand until I throw a rock.
If I press reload key, reload will happen after switching weapons, but won't show on screen.

After foolin' around and spending time some weapons are able to shoot.
Last time I was able to shoot with pistol and mp5 but not with sniper and assault rifle.
I had enough ammo for every weapon and all weapons were loaded.

You could try the set default keyboard settings trick. Experiment for awhile to see if it is the problem then set them back to your own settings again.
