Yeah...when I click the Installer...it brings up something to enter my ubi info..no big deal, I do it...but afterwards it tells me that I don't live in the states, when in fact, I do, and have all my life..Why is this? Any way around it or am I doomed to just never play Far Cry?

Yeah, I learned of that recently. Shame I can't find a copy of it anywhere, guess I'll just have to wait for Far Cry 2 instead. Not the end of the world ^_^

Very disappointed. I went through this whole process and the user name was rejected - twice. No communication, no news, hundreds of sites hosting the free version that doesn't work. Billions of bytes being transfer and wasted bandwidth, this is significant and poorly handled.

Ubi, call someone. Get help. You've got a huge public relations and communication problem that could be addressed more effectively. Issues like this can affect future sales and will bring more scrutiny to any future game, distribution and support hiccups.

So let me get this straight. You can no longer install the game that you downloaded over labor day weekend? I get the same "You don't live in the States" type issue... So there's no way to fix it!?!?!?!

Sorry to not put this into the same post, but I really wanted this game. I have dial up at my home, so it is basically impossible for me to purchase and download it at home. I saw is while I was on vacation in a hotel with wireless internet. I unfortunatly didn't know about this limited istall duration, as I downloaded it from File Planet. I may have missed it, but i'm still dissapointed. There's really no other way?
