I just got to the point in the second act where I finished the barge and now I have icons that have turned into numbers and letters.

Any ideas why?

I can still play the game but I can't tell what my health or ammo amount is. The Hud just keeps changing to random numbers, letters, and objects.

I'm right at 50%. I've updated, reinstalled, rebooted, cleaned, etc.

Running Vista 32 with 8600gt forgot motherboard. It's driving me crazy!

Still no ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had this happen once while using my laptop. I had the lappy jacked into a 32" LCD, but the resolution low and the picture zoomed on the TV itself. The weapon icon codes showed instead of the actual weapon, but after I messed with the resolution again I never had a repeat.
