Hi, My ranked match XP doesn't get save. i keep losing XP point when i quit the game. has anyone experience this problem? please help!

do you mean your xp you earned in a match isn't saved when you quit mid-match...

or that your xp disappears from all the matches you have fully completed after you shut the game down?

Im having the same problem, and no im not quit the game in mid match. Im at rank 7 play a couple of rounds and level up to rank 8. after the match is over, it says rank 8 on main screen. Quit the game, play the game later in the day and its back to rank 7! This happen 2 times now.

This game needs a patch to fix this problem

Yeah, it's just the last matches stats that don't save. I always play one more match after ranking up so my rank will save.

That's the only FIX I've found for it.

i've the same problem...
when i quit the game and play on the next day my XP & diamonds are gone
I hope Ubi will fix that bug soon

i have the same problem my rank dissapears it doesnt even save i think this problem has been mentioned a lot of times now and i dont think ubisoft are goin to fix this

Same thing with me. I've been playing multiplayer for the last few days. I ONLY play ranked matches. Repeat ranked matches. When I quit the game, the next day, I see that I have lost a TON of experience. I asked a few players in games if that is happening to them too, and it seems like a common problem.

I tested this last night by doing the following. After playing for a few hours, I hit back to the main menu to try to exit from the multiplayer menus. I then "quit" Far Cry 2 from the PS3 interface (hold down PS button to get the overlay system menu. Select quit Far Cry 2). I noted my experience before quitting. I had 5700. I also was close to getting an operations manual. I immediately re-started Far Cry 2, went to the multiplayer menus, logged back in. My experience was suddenly 5235! And my operations manual progress was much lower.

This type of thing happens a lot. Is there a way to exit the game without running into this glitch? Any hope for a patch? It is really ruining the multiplayer experience to have progress wiped out like that. I love this game, but I don't know if I can take this much longer.

It is not just the "last game played" stats that are disappearing. The night before, I lost even more. I lost a manual that I had gained and played with for at least 2-3 matches. When I logged in the next day, the manual was back to about 75%. I looked at my stats, and I know I have a ton more revives than is showing.

Is there any hope for a fix soon? And playing "one match more" is NOT a solution. I'll just lose those stats. No matter what, you end up losing stats and experience.

My XP in ranked match doesnt save neither- asked a lot of people and read tons of forums. Good thing is: we are not alone . Bad thing is, why dont they fix it ? In GTA IV for example, this feature works excellent .
MOREOVER I would really like to know, howcome there are people out there, wo aktually DONT have this problem?!?!?!

This are the 2 "work arounds" I found in the internet (that DONT work for me!!) :
1) After ending a ranked match correctly, log on to another game and once you're in the player screen you quit. Then you leave game and start it up again ->doesnt work (for me) though
2) People implying, that you should end a new game so that you'll at least have your rank saved according to the previous game. ->doesnt work (for me) though.

Then you have people online replying to posts like this meaning to help by saying "you have to end the ranked match properly" OR "you must play ranked match instead of that other one" DUHHHHHHHHHHH

yea, just another of the many glitches in this program. Sometimes saves ranking points, others not. I hate the amount of times I get disconnected during matches, sometimes when I am leading with seconds to go. Great game spoiled by lack of testing during development, and so slow to come up with any patches. I guess Ubi's are more intent on getting us all to buy their next 'great product' rather than bothering to fix the ones we've alreaddy paid for

thousands of people have complained about this problem from when the game was released along with other problems the game is suffering online but yet ubisoft havent done a thing about it to fix the problems especially the xp dissearance problem because it is a big problem. ubisoft are working on Far Cry 3 yea so what that doesnt mean they can forget about this game all together and not fix the problems that are getting reported to them constantly on a daily basis. and in my opinion ubisoft shouldnt even bother bringing Far Cry3 out untill the problems are fixed in Far Cry 2 or no one is gonna buy the 3rd one are they ? Ubisoft just dont seem to care or seem bothered about there game and that its suffering problems big problems they are not going to fix any of the problems on Far Cry 2 online which is a shame because its great game (atleast the single player mode is anyway).

it's not about this but i have a major problem i turned off my ps3and when i came back to it i started farcry 2 went on multiplayer and it came up with this message 'unable to retrieve rank and stat data you will not be able to participate in online matches' im well miffed anyone got an answer

... no worries, I'm having exactly the same problem since last friday evening... We will have to endure it till things get better again...

same here is it because the server is down ???

I think they are changing the servers to get hardcore mode on it or it's just a fault with the servers and all the people are sitting home during the weekend

I am having the same problem. I have tried everything!!! Every time I rank up when I log back in, it is back to the lower rank . Please can we have a fix on this because this is a great online game otherwise!!!! FIX NOW PLEASE!!

I had all the same problem losing xp when i exit, but for some reason after a few days it leveled me up to the xp and rank i should be at.

Fact is: I sold the crap game and I will never-ever be buying something again of ubisoft.

This is such a frustrating problem. I could live with all the other problems I have experienced with Far Cry 2, but this is just unbearable. I've now given up on going for Platinum with this game and am doubtful as to whether I'll be able to complete Single Player as that is apparently plagued with numerous bugs preventing 100% completion.

I have set myself the task of posting one bad online review of this game, every day.

This problem has also happened to me many times, so frustrating, PLEASE FIX QUICK! I'm so fed up with losing all the xp i earn. Ive always been really impressed by Ubisoft, but im starting to think i was wrong. Hurry Up with a patch!

Actually i found that really farcry 2 is a good game. Even online while I'm addicted to Call of Duty

And as no others I have the problem too , In the start I just didn't understand it, because I remembered of last time playing I was really lvl 2... But it was 1 on my screen . I got this till like rank 8, and honestly after I didn't miss any xp. Afcourse it doesn't make much more diffrence because you'll need much more xp. But it seems to me that if you're rank 8+ the problem will be fixed.. Atleast for me.

I hope this counts for everyone because so not it will be hard to reach a higher rank...

I still have the diamond bug.. ( It's usefull
sometimes ( 1/3 ) if i connect to farcry, it marks I didn't spend any Diamonds and it shows that I have 8 diamonds to spend :P...

This doesn't really bother me, does anyone else have this too?
