Okay, here's the skinny!

I played the whole game without using a walkthrough. I get to Narayan & I spend hours on the puzzle in the first hub. So, like a normal human being I get frustrated and look at a walkthrough. Well, what do all the walkthroughs say about the puzzles? They say that what I have been doing has been correct & I even found a picture that corroborated with my puzzle. I put the phrases from the journal in the minicircles inside the hub from top going clockwise. WTF mates! Is it a glitch or am I nuts!

Because of two reasons, I would vote "yes, you are nuts"

1- Swearing on these forums and expecting us to be nice to you.

2- Puzzle wise, also nuts. I would suggest you print the images after making them bigger.

Okay, first I'm sorry you think I meant the "WTF" literally. I say "WTF" with my friends all the time. (I actually don't curse at all.)

This happened to me too. I solved the puzzle correctly and was very happy about it but the game refused to 'see' it. So I'm stuck. Help would be greatly appreciated.

i just took bad notes when i was writing down the symbols originally and made minor mistakes. I finished the game now.

Here's a Template I made for that puzzle if any one is interested, it makes taking notes a bit easer

Thanks for the templates... I seem to keep replaying all the Myst games over & over, and they will be useful to me.

My pleasure, with me it was either make a templete or use an owners manual better knows as a cheat sheet. The template keeps the puzzle more chalenging.

Whoa! I wish I had had those templates when I was first playing. I could draw just well enough to take notes, but this would have made it *much* easier. I need to remember to browse the discussion boards before re-re-playing all the Myst games.
