Ok so i collected all the tapes in the north and now i am in the south. I started collecting them as i did before but for some reason everytime i got a new tape it played the same tape (the kid stealing the boots). I went and look on the jackal tapes menu and it only shows 9...
I was afraid i had to go talk to reuben first so i went to the bar and i saw him and he asked me if i had found any tapes so i handed to him what i had (i had already given him the north tapes and got the trophy for that). Now i just found another tape and its the same tape again...is there something wrong with what i am doing?

Do you have the PS3 patch 1.03?

i am pretty sure i do. when i load the game i am not ask to install a new update or anything

I have the exact same problem. I already updated the latest patch which resolved the buddy friendly fire issue. This seems to be the latest glitch that I hope gets fixed soon.

And i blame the patch, (or "patch"...), because the two times i did the SP before i installed it, i haven't had this problem.

I have the same issue: it doens't matter how many jackal tapes you pick up, you will be stuck at 9/10 jackal tapes... Everytime I near tape #10, the one about a boy stealing the boots from a dead APR soldier...

Well, I have the game on 360, and those pathes are just for the pc...

This was actually a PS3 topic. If you're looking for the 360 here is where you want to go. If you have Xbox Live, all you should have to do is connect with the game in and it will ask you if you want to update.
