what is going to happen to killed npcs? In every fps shooter i remember playing dead npcs disappear after a while. I understand that memory requirements for keeping deads npcs in game would be significant but i have always felt that disappearing bodies were a little...."unimmersive"? unengaging? "hey!! i killed that guy 5 minutes ago, went over there, now im back and he has disappeared but his ammo is still there for me to pick up!!" what is going to happen in FC2? Maybe there will be a script for the odd body to be seen getting eaten by lions

I definitely think there should be human remains everywhere in this game, see the vultures topic.
All the engine has to do is have a data file which stores x,y,z coordinates of where you killed a guy and then it will render a corpse there when you get near those coordinates. Simple |

Lions don't eat carrion. Maybe vultures or hyenas.

And it wouldn't make sense if ALL the bodies were always eaten by hyenas or vultures :d. I rather let them disappear, since who pais attention to them if they are like 10km off from that area?

What about if one of the other NCPs disposed of the bodies. Realism, and performance friendly. Of course some may get left for vultures.

Yeah, im pretty sure they mentioned in the demo that dead or injured NPCs would be dragged away by there collegues.... if i misheard i still reckon itd be a really realistic way of disposing of bodies, i hate it when they just disappear

yeah, but what if there colleages are all dead?
