1. Fix sli scaling for 9800gx2 2. Prone for SP, u can't camp in a sp game so nothing wrong with adding that. 3. Decreased Enemy health 4. Increase ammo for harder difficulty levels 5. Fix flickering shadows and water 6. Add civilians and small cities etc(Africa is not 50km2 of jungle/desert) 7. Enemies get jammed guns to 8. Make the camo suit more effective, right now its not really worth the 45 diamonds 9. Fix the enemies looking at other direction but shooting at you glitch 10.Increase the damage for pistols and assault rifles so that they don't have only a percentage of a sniper rifles power. 11. Instead of primary and special guns just let us have two primary guns so like we can have the sniper and the assault rifle but to keep it balance only allow one of the unconventional weapons like mortar, flamethrower, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, as50 at a time. 12. Give the glider more range and easier to control 13. More guns(you can never have enough guns) 14. Make the buddies more useful like being able to call on them to help you on a mission or to just follow you around. 15. Fix the buddy AI sometimes its quite glitchy-they just stand their while getting shot 16. Fix enemy AI 17. Give more dialogue to enemies and major characters 18. More types of side missions 19. Maybe add minor factions like UN peacekeeping forces and spetznaz if possible 20. Carnivore animals if possible( I read the interview about it being difficult) 21. Better physics 22. Bullet penetration, I've seen it happen in the game but I'm not really sure it really is part of the game or just a glitch 23. Fires last longer/spread further 24. Ability to take the train or do missions which involve you on a train since theres train tracks in the game 25. Have the monocle locate not just enemy mg/sniper posts but potential sniping/mg positions that would give you a tactical advantage 26. More Vehicles 27. Make the hills accessible 28. Free-play mode 29. Ability to change the fire modes of guns 30. Ability to buy mods for your guns, under-barrel grenade launchers/acog sights/red dot sights/silencers/bipods etc. 31. Sawed-off shotgun as secondary weapon 32. smoke grenades 33. Improve the iron sights for MK.19 they don't really work 34. Iron Sights for the flame thrower, if you modeled the sights let us use them 35. Give the G3AK and FN Fal more damage than the m249 and any other assault rifle since they shoot larger rounds. Change them both to have 20rd mags. 36. Make the enemies much less alert at night 37. Raise the max reputation levels and give other ways to raise them and more advantages for having a high rep. 38. Have fights between factions occur randomly not just in the beginning of the game and in the beginging of the southern map 39. Have a climb button like in Call of Duty 40. Have the weather affect the performance of your gun and the enemy 41. Make parts of the game have a less foggy background 42. Fix the glitch where you aim and shoot at a guy when you are near a tree and your bullets end up hitting the tree instead, bad hit detection. 43. Have even more explosive objects and put several ammo/fuel/explosive piles instead of one in places to create bigger and more epic explosions. 44. Allow you to chose which side of the vehicle to get out off so you are safe behind cover if attacked. Like get off in a certain direction when you are looking that way or pressing A for left and D for right side. 45. Faster transportation to places, guard posts are tedious/not enough bus stops 46. Theres a glitch where a sniper has fallen into a rock and he can still shoot me but I can't kill him. |

I agree with 90% of what people said before.
Some thoughts that didn't appear frequently, or didn't appear at all [it's all written from PC version, but most probably applies to all versions]: BUGS: - at one part of game (destroy pipeline mission?) you get main objective, marked as blue square at start of the mission. it's normal after your buddy phone you. - when I switch to IED my controls are back to default ones. When I switch to another weapon, they're back to ones set before. Controls menu shows controls set by me all time. Very weird. - if you shoot enemy out of car's seat, he leaves no weapons (they're still attached to him) TECHNICAL STUFF: - 2-4 slots for quicksaves, please: not only it takes alot of disc space (1,3 gb for me at end of first act), but it makes almost impossible to save some epic moment, as it'll be lost in all that quicksaves anyway - NPCs very often kill themselves, when using car-mounted grenade launcher - leave crosshair on by default for normal - monocular is hypersensitive, it's very hard to aim at anything - make subtitles, that appear when trying to heal your buddies, last a bit longer. I've loaded quicksave few time, as I thought it's bug, that buddies die at third dose of medicine, just to realise, they were asking for "killing dose", as they were mortally injured. - add subtitles for Jackal tapes (pretty hard to understand them for non-native english speakers) FEATURES: - guards respawn time... - dart rifle should make less blood - make people coming in civilian cars non-hostile, it's random to see civilian car trying to ram your truck with machinegun on it - Carl-G rocket launcher should have it clearly stated somewhere, that you can control rocket, after firing it. - make npcs not switch from gunner to driver seat, when driver is killed - make vehicle repair manuals cheaper a bit - watch, to check hour - destructible trees - decrease rewards from missions in act 2. you can buy pretty much everything you want after 3-4 missions. - make nearby explosions destroy rusted (below 30% durability?) weapons on ground or in hands of player - make found enemy weapons less rusted - make enemy weapons jam too (but do it less frequently than player's and not explode)(not sure if they doesn't do it now) - make weapons jamming more random and less scripted. If I shot and my weapon jams/explodes, I can be sure it will do same thing, after I load save. - limit enemy's ammo: it's annoying to see enemy fire 6 RPGs in row - make shot gas tanks really 'lose' gas (aka. flame shuts after few minutes; the longer flame is there, the less powerful is explosion, after player destroy tank) - a bit more random firearms left by enemies. Why snipers and rpg guys always leave smg and rest always leave pistol? - make player able to push car, even if it isn't upside down, by pressing some key. Car often stucks on rocks and you must walk on foot - add separate tab in statistics, that show how many km you swam, using boat - make sidearm you use to finish your buddies your actual sidearm, instead of some random pistol, pulled from nowhere (if player have no sidearm, or have flaregun/grenade launcher, then use machete) - make cars you need to destroy for cellular phone/gun dealer missions move slower, but more randomly. It's annoying they just drive in circles. - make enemies use their grenades - make enemies not show their arms, when hiding behind tree - make fire actually set cars on fire, instead of just making them overheat - make player able to turn off 'hints' that appear when buying guns - maybe some small chance, that bus, you travel in will be attacked? - add random events (like firefight between 2 factions; faction attacking village; soldiers questioning civilian, etc.) - allow to play after finishing game (I haven't personally finished it yet, but many people above said about this) - allow healing and maybe tossing grenades too from gunner's position - allow to remap 'leave gun' key or (preferably) make it same as use key. - allow player to make crouch and sight mode either toggleable (like it's for crouch atm), or last as long, as you hold button (like it's for aiming down the sight). - add ability to destroy car's tires - allow to throw weapons away - more black people, it's supposed to be Africa, not USA - make few enemies use guns from previous parts of game too. I haven't yet seen anyone with G3 in act 2 - make outposts scouted automatically, after you kill all enemies in them at normal and easy difficulty. it gets annoying, that I can't get outpost count as 'scouted' after i've accidentally destroyed ammo pile from post above: 33. Improve the iron sights for MK.19 they don't really work 34. Iron Sights for the flame thrower, if you modeled the sights let us use them - in escort ship mission * either remove guy with mortar, or add some sniper rifle to the ship. It's next to impossible to spot him and shoot him, before he damage ship. * [only if above is done, otherwise, that mission will be very hard to do] increase ship's hp a bit and double repair time. It's not realistic, that you can repair ship hit by RPG faster, than you repair car hit by few bullets MAJOR FEATURES IDEAS: - increase weapons durability alot and make guns not automagically respawn in armoury. Make player able to buy weapon for second time, for 50 or 75% price. Incrase durability upgrade price alot. Jesus christ where to start. For one thing i like many people are still playing FC2 and still kinda enjoy it, but seriously FC2 devs. What the hell is your problem? Its teams like you that are killing the gaming industry. Now if you don't want to include all these things into FC2 than simply DON'T say your going to. Cause this isn't even HALF of what you said it would be.
1) A.I. needs to be better. Remember how you said, in fact made a WHOLE video on how you can trick A.I. by shooting someone in the foot and eventually a buddy will come and aid him. Well I tried that at least a hundred times before finally giving in. You can't do it. What the hell? If you showed it on there did you just take it out? Why? Make A.I. like it should have been. 2) Bigger herds of animals 3) Less patrols. I can encounter like 5-10 driving through a area. Way to much. 4) The monocular is to sensitive 5) Enemies respawn to fast 6) Remember how you said most stuff will be destructable? Which one? The Sniper tower or the wooden shacks? Was there something else? 7) Voices are to quiet compared to the rest of the game 8) Let IED's stick to vehicles 9) Trees should all be able to be destroyed and be able to get burnt. Remember how you said all trees grow back? Its true its in the engine but we can't take any down. I think a RPG could do it... And Ubi, if you won't do that give us a SDK, thats all we really need and we'll make Far-Cry 2, not that POS you made |

1. Improve playability by allowing player to adjust independently X and Y sensibility. For [All] 2. Decrease ENEMY RESISTANCE in every difficulty mode. 7-8 gun bullets in the chest to kill o_O ! This SUCKS !!!! If you want increase enemy damages to balance but fix the enemy resistance please !! 3. Decrease enemy RESPAWN FREQUENCY. You could make enemies respawn every 2 or 3 game days for example. That's all for the reasonable change you (please !!) have to make because there are easy and they would improve the whole experience so much ! This game would be so amazing with just those simple tweaks ! |

I'm suffering from a corrupt save file...96% done (definitely need to fix that crap) started a new game...43% complete and now i'm having this new camera issue where my view keeps spinning to the left. and i know for a fact it's not my controller because on map editor and multiplayer i have no issues, the same goes for other games. i've only found one other person who's having this problem (and it's on their PC) |

Re-spawn time a guard/checkpoints is annoying as hell BUT more so is the fact that I can decimate a guard/check point by setting it on fire, destroying all barrels, destroying EVERYTHING and then I drive by no less than an hour later and it's REBUILT COMPLETELY as if nothing ever happened.
How the hell did the person in charge of gameplay allow that? FAIL! Oh and I've mapped use to my f key. When I use a turret... I can't EVER get off it so I'm stuck until I reload from a previous save point or have someone shoot me and then I can use my medkit (which means my char lets go of the turret). Buddies and safe houses. Ok so a buddy comes and saves me from an ambush. I then dart off to a safe house and find him there before I get there. Or better yet.. I unlock a safehouse and go in.. and find a buddy already there! And then he chats with me and says "Hey! Wow I haven't seen you in SSSOO long! What's new?" Umm.. you just saved me! FAIL!! |

Love the game, but if you must give guards an RPG that they will fire (at targets they could never have identified in real life), please don't give them unlimited rocket ammunition. It is such a cheap way of making the game harder - FC2 is better than that.

I'm coming in late to most of this list, but I do have a few things I would like to add to it.
CONTROLS - Being a member of one of the older generations, my hands and neck muscles get pretty sore after awhile continually holding down that 'W' key to keep walking or driving. I'd like to see, for all the basic navigation keys, an Alt- or Ctrl- option that holds the key down until pressed again. - I have problems driving the vehicles because, as mentioned above, older hands and muscles get sore or clumsy using the standard navigation keys quickly and repeatedly. The frustration level is so high that I normally don't waste time even trying to drive the vehicles - which makes for a very long game and amplifies the first entry above. That is a shame because I would really like to use the vehicles. I had a solution to this problem in the old game of Mafia, which had as its real appeal all the old cars one could drive. Unfortunately, newer games always seem to have a problem with the solution. That solution is I use the keyboard for all walking-based actions and a game controller for all driving-based actions. It works extremely well as: 1. The physical change between keyboard and controller also causes a psychological change and sense of different activity. 2. It uses different muscles, or the same muscles differently, so there is less strain and I can play longer with less sense of hurt muscles or body. 3 It seems more intuitive as holding the controller is more like actually holding a steering wheel. I have tried that with this and other games but there always sees to be a problem, either the two input methods conflict with each other or the game allows one or the other but not both. When both are allowed, you have to be really careful not to accidentally hit the other device when not using it. I would like to see an entry in the option menu of all fps games like this so I can choose my preference: Walking _Keyboard _Controller Driving _Keyboard _Controller GAMEPLAY - Speaking of vehicles, why are there no mirrors in the vehicles so I can see what is chasing me or happening at the checkpoint I just went through? - Real binoculars would be great, on their own hotkey. I don't have time to fumble with the map and the monocular when an unknown sniper is shooting at me. A monocular is a survival tool because you have limited carry ability. A good approach might be to use upgrades of the monocular like the weapons: 1. Issue monocular 2. Standard binoculars (2 zooms 2 diamonds 3. Quality binoculars (3 zooms 4 diamonds) 4. Thermal/Infrared adapter for Quality binoculars 2 diamonds) - Weapons should have selective fire and interchangeable sights/scopes. I should be able to take an MP5, put a scope on it and set it to single shot fire and then use it as a short range silent sniping weapon. - There should be more than one type of knife. In particular, there should be a throwing knife or shuriken equivalent, making for a very close range silent weapon. In the beginning, the Jackal is shown throwing the machete in my direction, why can't I throw it back? - While driving, I should be able to look in my nonexistent mirror, and if I see something behind me, throw a hand grenade backwards over my head into the road directly behind me. - Since this is a fluid situation, I should be able to put on a UFLL or APR armband and pass through those checkpoints or engage those AI peacefully. If I don't shoot at them they shouldn't shoot at me. I might even want to use that armband while performing some missions to blame it on the other side. - It would be nice if there were some Less Than Lethal (LTL) weapons for those situations where killing my not be needed or desired. Examples: 1. Glue patch that AI get stuck in if they enter it. 2. Slippery patch where they can't stand up. 3. Expanding foam to fill and block narrow entryways. 4. Stench gas to chase AI away for a certain time frame. 5. Spider web round from shotgun that encases AI and sticks them to whatever is behind them. 6. Beanbag round that temporarily disables them. |

As another older gamer, I sympathize with you about using the keyboard, (I also hate the lack of analog movement). The solution I found was to mount the controller to my desk, that way I don't have to worry about bumping it accidentally. It's software also emulates a keyboard, so I can use it for both walking and driving. |

Do you guys remember that watch that you pull out when you go to bed in the game?
Well I want to be able to look at that watch without going to my safehouse because I want to know what the time is. It might sound wierd but it is something I would like. |

PC: Ability to turn of Swearing / Language Filter. I don't swear and would prefer the option of not hearing it. I bought this and COD5 and am dissapointed in the lack of language options for both. Turning the speech volume down is not a viable option to get through the game either (no I don't want to read it...). I won't be buying any more games without language options, nor will I be reccommending them to others. If Ubisoft could fix this problem it would be great. I don't care if I hear an increase in phrases being repeated or if I hear nothing instead at that moment. I would even be happy if I was provided with instructions on which files to delete or replace with blank fillers. Having read some other threads, I'm not alone here. Also to those who don't want others to have the option of disabling bad language, you have a problem. I wouldn't want a government run by people like you.

The game is full of beautiful scenery and huge landscapes and lush jungles, so I take screen shots of it all, and theres a big gun in the way, I want to be able to put away my weapon and take sum screen shots of the scenery. Its hard to get a good shot when half the view is obstructed by a gun. Also it would make sence in cease fire areas.
