sometimes when i am playing mp, it seems like people can do some pretty amazing things. i know that in unreal tournament and a few other shooters, you could use aim bots and other tampering to cheat. so my question is can people actually CHEAT, not just make hidden areas of the map or stupid glitches, i mean CHEAT?
a prime example happened in a game i played around a week ago, i approached an un-named gamer from the back 4 times in different areas, his/her gun facing forward, as soon as i got into range he/she spun, fired, killed me faster than i could even pull the trigger. now i know that its very possible that lag can be tricky and i do not want to accuse people of cheating when i just had some bad luck. honestly i am one of those people who thinks that with technology improving the way it has since i started playing a long long long long time ago, it really is impossible to cheat. so lets hear some stories!

its not impossible to cheat, i've seen some strange things aswell, people disappear in front of you and then reappear behind you, things like that, but i dont think the rules allow people to discuss exactly how people can cheat.

either way its pretty sad when someone has to cheat, to win in a video game, or boost their stats, keep "win streaks" alive by quitting a match when they are losing etc... those people fail at life.

I saw some strange things too, but never several times from one player especially, so no, i never met a "cheater", like you see them on pc.

But about a week ago, i played with a "rank 30" guy, and when you can believe the stats, he only played for 60 hours, had just 2000 kills.... !

Maybe a bug?

Don't care, as long as it doesn't affect my game, people can build their stats the way they like it.

yea i love when you check someone's stats and they have 1000+ consecutive wins.... sure you do...

they need to have a "matches quit early" stat, and -1 rank for people who quit ranked matches when their team is losing.

that's wierd, how the hell do you cheat on console?

Due to the fact that i don't want my acc. banned forever i will not get into detail but it is definetly possible to manipulate this game. This is due to functionality bugs that haven't been fixed in the first place because they were considered as minor bugs. Now, they act as backdoors because nobody would have expected people to find these. Maybe even UBI employees and programmers didn't find those bugs.

The thing is, none of them get's you a major advantage. I wouldn't want to be a lvl30 with -1000 points or so. ;-)

Mostly lag is by far the biggest problem!!
