I brought Far Cry 2 on release and to be honest, i didnt quite get on with it.

Ive decided i want to give it another go but im stuck!

Im quite early into the game and ive had to go and "free the captive from the bricked up building at the fishing camp"

well, ive killed the enemies, gone inside the building, opened the door and found the guy. he spoke to me once saying he owes me so i thought mission done, it even said mission done in the corner.

This is where my problem arises...it still telling my objective is in that building! it has that red circel around it? i cant do anything else either...i cant talk to him etc yet it still says my objective is there!

plus i cant do any of the other missions now as it still thinks im doing that one!

please can someone help, this has probably been posted before and a m1illion times is just really want some help!!

Did you try to exit the building? After you free him or her you should get a phone call telling you to return where you started to get your reward. If you haven't updated your game you should do it pronto..........if you have downloaded the patches i suggest you start all over again and save often and on multiple slots.
