Hi, just a quick note while we wait for a patch, I was able to get around the bug with the barge skippper falling through the floor and standing on deck impossible to speak to (outside the second Mike's); I had a save from before I started the first barge mission, ie. inside cabin. Do that, then the stuff in town and then back to save him _without saving_, that worked for me.

I just bumped into the same problem and tried this out, and it worked (on ps3, with patch 1.04)! I replayed from being in the captain's room before having to guard the boat from the attackers, not saving on all the way, doing the town bit, then taking the bus back to near the barge, car for the rest, and it worked, the captain was where he's supposed to and talkative...!

Really hope there's not more like this coming, now that I got back to the game to play it through.

Thank you soooo much. This worked for me. I was just about to give up. Really been enjoying the game til this bug. Hopefully can make it through to the end.
