I may just be using the term in an old fashioned way (highly possible). Also, we may use it differently in the US.
Urban Dictionary Mate Word describing a friend, recognizably Australian though also used in Britain and New Zealand. In Australia, the term is most commonly used between men, when they cannot remember each other's names. If she checks in, we can ask her. |
