At time of posting, there are NO OFFICIAL SPECIFICATIONS for FC2.

Feel free to speculate here.

I know nobody knows for sure but if you had to guess what would you say your computer should have.

I know a lot of people upgraded in anticipation of Crysis and was disappointed. My advice is to wait for the final official requirements. With new CPUs and graphic cards comng out (which seems like daily Eek) waiting would be prudent.

actually, I think a strong single core will be able to handle it, at least that is what clint hocking stated in a lot of those recorded interviews

My 1.4ghz athlon is made of steel! really "strong" =)

They will never be able to make me by a new pc when they've already said that I'd be able to play it with what I have!

My specs are in my sig, I expect that to do a decent job, I always have my 360 as back up if this game is poorly optimized though.

You can download either of these free and they will tell you all you need to know about your system. PC Wizard is my favorite but both are good. Try it!

The cards aren't out.. how you can get a benchmark? (yes saw them too) but still? i'm still gonna wait to see the "REAL" benchmarks before buying Smile

Well heres the deal, apparently the new 9800 series still have 128 shaders and around the same clock speeds/shader speeds as the 8800's, the main difference being video memory, which Crysis didnt run any different on 1gb than 512mb, I think the real next gen cards are gonna be the 10 series, sounds like these are a filler if you ask me. Thanks for the comment on my card, I debated forever whether I should wait or not, glad I didnt.

On a side note, I hope my 5600 X2 doesnt hold me back with this game, I got it OC'd to 3.0, around the same performance as a E6600 C2D, we shall see. I know they've touted quad core support, hope its not that much of a handicap if you dont have one.
