Not being a doctor or knowing much about medicine....I don't not how contracting Malaria can turn one into a mutant

its my kinda game ,,lay on raffata matt, sweating sleeping ,hopfully halucination sequence,s and asking your buddy for chicken soup as he pats ur head with a damp clothe
till the fever breaks then it action stations after 12 hours of being lazy lol

I don't know why it would be so bad. If you wouldn't want to play as a mutant you'd just get a cure. Players that do want a change in gameplay, don't get the cure. Everyone wins!

But still, it was probably just a metaphoricaly

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but gamesradar have edited their article to say that there are DEFINITELY NO MUTANTS.

I read another interview where the jist seemed to be more like without your meds "You get very sickly and become a real scumbag of a person as you keep killing, burning and maiming people", which you ultimately have to do to make it through to the end of the game. Kinda like in Star Wars where you start turning toward the dark side and become very vile.
