I dunno where Cuz heard about the next financial year, but that 9lives interview sounded pretty convincing to me. Maybe they won't make it by March, but they should get close if they really have entered beta stage and all the features and content are finished.

Here's hoping, cos I am so hanging out for this game.

Thanks, Cuz. But this is weird, that news is a month and a half old, why are they now saying hopefully March as of a few days ago?

Either way, if the 08/09 fiscal year is true, that just means it will be out at April (at the earliest) not much different from March. Plus they are at beta. Or is that just another bloody rumour?

It would be nice to have an official, no bull, word from someone who knows what they're talking about on the production status and expected release of the game. I don't mean a specific date, since they can't predict the future, just are they expecting March/April or June/July or late 08?

I don't mean to sound like a whinger, I myself have absolute faith in Ubi delivering all of what they've promised not too far from March.

I can't believe March, even though they just said it in one of the interviews. That would mean they are a month off Gold.

All things being normal this game in terms of PR doesn't quite feel like a March release, but I'd be damn happy if it were. I'd rather have less PR and get to play the game before I see it. Crysis should have been announced just a month or so before e3 2007.

Hoping for March but I'm doubtful.

I just hope we get it this year, spring or summer time would be nice.

Clint Hocking has said again in the most recent interview on Gamespot that the game will be out in March 2008.

Still seems it is very close to release. Either that or Clint is fooling all of us having a laugh about it

IIRC they said that they started betatesting sometime in January, so I guess March could be possible. I'd bet my money on very late March, so about two months wait, if were lucky.

March 08? I'm sorry but thats hard to believe (love to be wrong). It is now Feb. so where is the hype? This should be news everywhere,,one would think. A blurb here and one there seems too little for this all to be true.....God am I negitive or what!!!

yep...and should be almost gold...so i don't believe the game will be released in march....

Just as a previous poster had said- one of the devs in a January 30th video had said confidently "Can't wait to play you all in March of 2008"- I'm as skeptic as all of you, but I hope hes right.

There's no hype because theres no announced release date yet. Sure one of the devs said March 08, but I don't think that's an offical announcement. Hopfully in the coming weeks we'll get an announced release date.

That sounds completely random and made up. I hate it how even well-reknowned games media people write stuff like that. How can they take their jobs seriously?

Yes, no way in hell would Ubi release the game with those timelines on different regions. Gamespot is just guessing, hoping that at least one of those is right.
