Gah, I just downloaded all the HD videos, but I can't play them. Quicktime, Quicktime Alternative and Media Player Classic don't seem to work. Help anyone?
PS. something I find really cool in FC2 is the sharpness of the smallest details. For example, every leaf and grass blade has a sharp, clearly defined outline and picks up intricate shadows. Compare this to the extremely pixelated and quite messy grass (and leaves?) in Crysis.

I would love to know how time transpires in the game. Is it real-time (time spent in the game) or is it accelerated like GTA or other games? I would assume it would need to be accelerated to provide more variety in day/night opportunities.
I would love to know the acceleration rate. When it goes too fast, it sort of becomes a little too unrealistic and you don't have enough time to do what you wanted to at those specific times. I would imagine the devs have figured the right balance.
I think 2 minutes equal to one hour would be pretty much perfect (ie. one full day in 48 minutes). But i don't know what they're planning to do. I would say there will be a fairly easy way to mod the time of day.
Maybe there is some way to accelerate the time of day in realtime, so you don't have to sit there for 20 minutes before you can raid a camp under the cover of darkness.
I, for one, want a 6-12 hour day/night cycle, with the ability to sleep. (I don't want to start a gunfight at noon, and kill the last guy at 5:00)

I agree with TF.. it should be like an rpg like gothic or something with maybe a 2:1 or 3:2 Real time to Game time. This makes it more realistic and actually more fun to play. If you played for 3 hours and like 6 days past that would get kinda ridiculous
