UPDATE from Atmon on 1/12/09:

We are happy to announce that we collected some information to share with you about our upcoming Xbox 360 patch.

This patch will include a lot of improvements especially on the multiplayer side; with better browsing features, more multiplayer game options, and other new additions in order to let you play the game, the way you want.

Here is a sample of features you will find in this patch:

New match options
Add respawning time in Host - Advanced options - player match
Add starting rank in Host - Advanced options - player match
Add min players in the host option

More data on scoreboard
Add deaths in scoreboard
Show VIP on Scoreboard (for your team only)

Please take note that this list is just a preview showing element that are currently done. Other elements in polishing will be revealed soon.

The target release date is currently set in early February

Yeah... Anytime guys... Or maybe wait until 2010?

I hope it at least fixes my corrupt save files/locked doors/missing chars/etc. Please, you at Ubisoft have made a GREAT GAME but you have to fix your mistakes so one can actually play through it without game ending errors.

Jesus christ, I understand it was just christmas but we should at least have some news regarding the release date of the patch and what it fixes. Epic have a patch coming for gears 2 and they have already announced what is included in the patch. Communication on your side is bullocks. You send a mod or someone to tell us they will update us shortly. But they don't update us shortly they take weeks.

It's not the moderators, nor community devs/managers. I'm just as choked as other 360 owners but I place blame squarely on the Publishing group for pushing a half finished game out the door, and the decision-makers who cooked up half the hair-brained design decisions.

I normally would fix my errors as soon as possible but i don't see why i should if you don't ubisoft.

The patch will come. It just may take a while. FCIP for the 360 took 6 months and there was virtually no communication from UBI on the boards...it was frustrating...this time around I know what to expect so I will be patient

UBI, you screw up every game u make horribly. Rainbow six vegas 2 is worse than 1 is online, and you changed so many things that just make it retarted. This game is a mess left and right, and all you have to say for yourselves after a couple of months is "we'll have it coming shortly?" That was posted over a month ago...wtf is goin on now? I can't even finish the game cuz of the free/save glitch....so i want my ****ING money back UBISuck

They are probably busy working on a video that will talk about the patch first. Since they love doing these videos.

The informational update on the patch should come out sooner, rather than later UBI. Like, on January 12th or 13th. There's no good reason at this point to delay any longer.

Why is this opened up? Makes me wonder if it's near. Thursdays are when updates (or at least DLC) usually come out for 360.

Yh I spose it's not the moderators. Its so frustrating though, I traded in 4 games for this broken game. I was preparing to be amazed but Ive been dissapointed and frustrated and then dissapointed again.

Come on patch, how much longer before we can have the game we paid for, and should've been given originally?

FC is down to £17 in English shops, from £40. COD4 still hasn't dropped below £35 and its a year old. That alone shows how people feel about how bust this game is

Tell me when it will be launched patch of correction to load saves. It is that that I want to know, I do not want promises. I honestly am very irritated with that. I am going to travel that remaining of January and if in February that problem is not corrected.... Ubi... it can be sure that I will enter a process in justice, and it is no use think they are going to give me other game or the money back... how you think they stay almost 50 hours that I passed playing... how you think I was irritated due to that bug.... how you can launch something with a so absurd mistake.

My message is given, already won a Microsoft's Process for a problem that I had with the warranty, they thought they would go wind and shod. I am in the wait.

Guys, really? They couldn't even start working on the patch until the PC patch was done and most everybody likes to take the holidays off, so December didn't see any work get done.
Secondly, if the game has so many issues, would it not be fair to say a patch would take longer to code and then test? Then it would have to add at least another week for certification through MS. So even expecting the patch before the middle of Feb. is just not realistic.

Please, all I ask for is actual 16:9 widescreen and the ability to play through the full game w/out these freezes I keep reading about. I can get past everything else (the fast respawn times, the no scope sway and the horrible damage scale) But cropping 4:3 to fit by beautiful 42inch ruined Bioshock for me, and until this patch is released FarCry 2 is sitting, collecting dust.

You guys need to take a few pointers from epic. they are exepting the fact that the game is glitchy and they are listening to their consumers becasue they care unlik you.
