Act 1 - 1st APR Mission - Kill the Police Chief

This mission has a glitch when playing "Infamous" difficulty level. I completed it with no problem in "Normal" difficulty.

I am able to complete all the steps in the mission except for the part at the end where you save Flora Guillen when she attacks the convoy.

Once you drive/walk from the Police Station to the firefight between Flora and the guys in the convoy, you cannot HEAL Flora. I have tried it many times and every time the only option is to shoot her with a pistol. I press "H" over and over again, but he never pulls out a Syrette. I usually have 3 or 4 syrettes in my inventory, but he does not use them. I even heal myself to 100% health and he still will not heal her.

There is another problem... see the map below.


Starting at the purple dot at the Police Station. Drive on the orange line to the next Guard Station. If you take the red line to the blue dot where Flora is, SHE SHOOTS AT YOU! Even when you kill the other guys shooting at her, she tries to kill you. One time I died from her gunfire and another buddy rescued me and Flora shot me again until I died!

If she is dying and I walk away instead of shooting her, her status is "Missing" and then she dies a few minutes later.

I want to keep Flora around to help me with other missions, but I cannot move on until I complete this one.

HELP!

This is a known glitch where your buddies essentially treat you as an enemy, trying to kill you and making it so that you can't heal them.

If you haven't got much progress I believe this glitch can be fixed by deleting all save data and then starting fresh. If you don't want to start again it is possible to get by while subverting all missions and completing all buddy side missions. I had this problem myself but I had too much progress to start over. I managed to get through, being forced to kill most of my buddies, but in Act 2 the problem goes away.

Thanks for the tip. That mission was the first one I picked when I started the "Infamous" mode. I was not able to complete it, so I backed up and did some other side missions before I tried it again. But it worked out the same way and I'm very frustrated. I mostly want to complete the buddy missions so I can get extra stuff at the Safe Houses. Like medic packs, vehicles, ammo, etc. Oh well.

Also, I forgot to mention that when I take the green line route (the one you are supposed to take) Flora did NOT shoot at me. It worked like it's supposed to.

Flora just around and around and nobody comes for us to kill after I kill the 1st 2 guys on the scene
