I'm 77% into the game and I have to escape from the prison: I do so (through the wall and out the door) and I reach the red circle on the map... but I do not get a message the mission is accomplished! I did this two times (once straight to the circle and once killing everyone in the prison I could find) and I even drove through half the map, but the mission just won't end! I'm stuck!

What am I doing wrong...?

i think u just need to go further then the red circel if i can remember its an escape mission not a kill mission Then its say completed and they call u on the cellphone to go very north of the map to meet somewane hope i help u ? =)

It should complete immediately when you get to the red circle. I don't believe it's mandatory, but I would go in the prison basement and rescue your buddy. Then try going back to the red circle and see if it works then.

Probably just another bug though.

:O i never saved my buddy , though she was dead ^^ dint affect my mission

Well, it was some sort of bug: I had to reload an older savegame from BEFORE the Jackal caught me: I did everything I did before again and now it worked. Before this, during one of my previous retries, there was no one in the prison (where you do down the stairs, eliminate two guys and enter a room with one chair): now there was, and when I went to the red circle the mission was accomplished at once. Somehow someting went wrong with the savegame, I guess. The other savegames from after me getting caught the first time all didn't work right.

now if i understood this right: i had a similar problem of not getting mission accomplished after passing the circle, though i killed everyone, even twice

now i will try to run previous save if really went something wrong, since there was no other prisoner held in. i was looking for a one chair room too, but only room i could access was the one in basement with two chairs, round walls, save box, and ceiling opening which looks onto the yard.

is there another friend in prison even if i haven't active buddy's at the moment, only the Irishman Frank which isn't really considered as a friend.
can anyone describe the hole process once again, cause i'll slipped into the void if i won't be able to complete this awesome game...

i'm somehow surprised if this is a known bug, why isn't explained officially and only discussed in forums :dunno:

AFAIK you don't have to kill anyone, just keep going till you reach the red circle, and possibly a little farther until you get the mission accomplished notice.(I'm playing PC version btw, maybe this is another console bug?)

yes i'm playing PS3, however i went further to the nearest bus station, took a ride to mosate selao and there was still mission active down there in the south.

Restart your game.

I have this exact same problem. I am at 77 % of the game and I'm at this Mission. First of all, my buddy isn't in the cell that he's supposed to be in. Second, I can't complete the mission.

Even though I enter and exit the marker, the mission isn't complete. I have searched all over the web for an explanation to this but there doesn't seem to be any. Do you know how I can get past this "glitch" or whatever it is?

By the way, I play on a xbox360 so there is no way to go back to past saves, because I have saved the entire game on the same save file.

I hope I won't have to play the game all over again, because I have spent way too many hours on the infamous difficulty to be encouraged to start from scratch, when I am so close to the finale.

Wait, I was supposed to save my buddy?
I just sprinted out of there ASAP.

Try just leaving. Once I got far enough (and killed some guards) it said I beat the mission and I got a phone call.

Hey, I saved my buddy. Save her first bedore anything. Follow the blood trails (pick up the eagle and the paratrooper along the way), deal with the guards, talk to your buddy (reputation goes up) then deal with the rest of them and git da hell outta there... oh and don't forget the diamond at the small shack down the driveway

i actually sneaked trough all guards in the prison. the exit is almost dead ahead and i got ONE grenade all the time(and a knife)
i died the first time i sneaked out cause i kinda did die the first Try cause i killed a guard and it ende up to be for clos by and i got killed.
but the second time i sneaked all my way to a rock and heard a car thowed a grenade blowed it up took theyr weapons and used the car as cover.
OH and i play the PS3 vesion
