Alright I know that Ubi has never said anything about a console version of Farcry2 yet but if you want to see Predator mode to be on the PC Version of FarCry2 Than Vote here.

I voted no. While I would actually like to see it, (I assume by predator mode you mean there's some superhuman guy against a few mercenaries) I think Ubi should stick to the realistic mercenary-type game for this sequel. They're already trying to do so much, adding predator abilities is just one thing too many.

Like I said, I would welcome such a gameplay mode, but I don't think there should be one given the scope of the game already. They can't put everything in the game. you're talking about another game there.

Of course I do!!! Thats the only reason I bought FC IP because their was a map editor and predator mode looked awsome! Please Ubisoft! Put it in multiplayer please! I dont care if its in single player just add it to multiplayer for like a little fun gamemode or something please!

I would love Predator mode!!!!! But with no Jack Carver or Predators in Single Player, I don't think Ubisoft will add it. Predator mode is kinda of like Juggernaut in Halo the Predator has feral sense, can Jump high, run fast, and has a powerful scratch/lunge attack, Jack Carver gains these abilities in the single player, it is quite fun. And of couse this is only in Instincts.

i wish i could vote yes several more times because predator mode is the only thing anyone really play's in multiplayer because it RoCk'S.it may not have nothing to do with the story mode but i really think that it should be on the multiplayer or the game would not be as much fun without predator's.farcry never get's old...that is of course if farcry 2 doesn't come out on xbox 360 that would suck ;-}

YES!!!! PLEASE ADD A PREDATOR MODE! I will not buy farcry 2 if it has no predator in it.

As much as i love Predator mode. I love to play on it . But I don't see it in Farcry 2 . So your in the savanah going around killing people destroying trees. Yippy. But then you turn into a Feral maneating killing machine. It just wouldn't work for the story or online really. I can guess that they will make more better modes like CTF, Assualt, other stuff like that i would think...

I Think That The Far Cry Predators Makes The Game More Exiting! The Predators Make The Game Even More Unuque And Specail Than Other Games. If Their Is Not A Predator In Far Cry 2 I Won't Buy It Because On Far Cry One That's The Only Game Mode I Play On Because Its Exiting Having A Super Human That Has A Deadly Claw Attack, Extremely Increased Agilty And Can See Through Walls Making Predators The Ultimate Predator!

If They Don't Want A Predator On The Main Story Line They Should At Least Make A Kool Seperate Mode For The Predator Loves Like Me

guys, I don't think you seem to get the fact that Jack's abilities were caused by a premature development of an advanced version of the trigen virus developed by the Krieger Corps. Now, seeing as neither mutant aliens or strange viruses are going to exist in this game, the predator ability would seem to come from absolutely nowhere. This game is about realism and realism. that said, realism includes crysis like super suits, not a virus that makes you super primal.

It would definatly be a big dispointment if they don't do it to all the fan of the xbox and 360 versions of FarCry. It was basically its unique touch that it had over the PC Version multiplayer. Unless they make options for multiplayer games like in halo 3 and you can really go far into modifying the game mode than this must be a staple for the console versions at least. Hopefully they do add on to the multiplayer options by giving you a boat load of options like the # of lives a person has before he dies, or how fast he can preform surgery or how much damage he can take before he dies. There is such much stuff they can add like respawn time, calling time for reinformencents. Something like the Halo 3 customization can be realy appreciated by us Console gamers and PC gamers alike

As a console player(old FC gamertag: Bipolar Lion) and having bought every FarCry xbox version at release I agree that "Predator mode" in multiplayer was really fun and it would be a shame not to include it but it does not belong in singleplayer or other regular multiplayer modes.

90% of the people I play or have played on FarCry prefer straight up merc vs merc gameplay with no Predator mode pick ups, so I don't know were some people who have posted here think Predator is the only thing people play on FC Xbox multiplayer. Death match, Team death match, & CTF is were it's at.

So I vote "yes" but only in it's own multiplayer

Well I never said that as of one. But the thing is, Predator Mode was a Unique multiplayer mode that only FarCry had. I like playing STS Team Chaos it is just that Predator was by far the most unique mode out of any of the FarCry Games. If it didn't exisited than the FanBase would be much smaller than it is to day on the 360.
You have to understand that the Predator mode made FCIP unique compared to the average multiplayer game along with the fact that it had a map Editor. I understand that it doesn't have anything to do with the single player so they proably won't include it. But you must understand that It made it unique. The destruction of Predator mode will mean that they will need to come up with a different multiplayer mode just as good or even better to replace it or just have options like in Halo 3 that allows you to edit certain teams physics and stuff like that. Basically what they did in halo 3 they need to try and do so that we ,The fan boys can recreate the game type.

Complete feral abilities sets in single and multiplayer modes is NECESSARY on consoles... it's the way it's always been it's like your taking features out of the game!! FFS think ubi... this is gonna hit you like the language packs for naruto! except i didn't care either way there i just enjoy playing the game...

far cry 2: evolutions/predatormode powerup DLC ftw!!!! PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!! look how many people want it... fair enough PC people don't like it cos it invades their 'original' game but come one... console people need it.. it's like when they took geomods out of redfaction... the sequel sucked! even though the first game was amazing, when you couldn't tunnel around cliff faces on multiplayer it lost it's charm completely

Predator mode just wouldn't make any sense in Far Cry 2, thematically. This isn't a supernatural game, or one with mutants.

What would make a little more sense in the context of the game, and be a little more original, is something like "Hunt the Spy(s)," where a couple sneaky, stealthy players try to evade and/or defeat the larger group of patrolling mercs. Or "Sniper hunt" where people try to track down and kill some snipers that are hiding out in the large, open, natural environments.

Apart from the name, its a different game, not a sequel, so predator powers would be out of place.

A man in my local chip shop says rumour has it that this game is called "FarCry2" because a UBI graphics artist created the logo ages ago and kicked up a fuss about it not being used. UBI tried telling him it wouldnt make sense and would cause uproar, confusion and much sadness amongst the console community, however the graphics artist pointed out he knew Chuck Norris, and fearing the 'beard of invincibility', and the fact that Chuck can kill you with every object in a given room - including the room itself...UBI relented and agreed to call the game FarCry2 so the graphics artist could use his logo.

that's not the point at all!!

the point is, people playing far cry on consoles have played through TWO WHOLE GAMES with the progressive onset of feral abilities. They have become a major defining part of what made FCI and FCIE and FCIP so great, it was that and the map editor which stopped the game from falling as soon as it was released. Nobody cared on consoles cos we get tons of new shooters every month (yawn!) Far Cry 2 is not going to have the replayability of the others cos no matter how beautiful or realistic it is, it's going to start to feel empty pretty soon after you've finished the story

you wouldn't take toad or yoshi out of the next mario kart sequel

you wouldn't take away bullet time for a matrix sequel

look what happened to red faction: they took away the geomod engine for the second game.. lo and behold it SUCKED

it doen't matter how you work something like this into the story because in any 'wild' setting, feral abilities are completely plausible.

in all fairness in light of this news i'm beginning to think everything should have repeated itself like before; Far Cry 2 on PC Far Cry: Instincts 2 on consoles

I REALLY hope ubi can get something done about this, they keep delaying this game enough..I mean c'mon they went to the bother of releasing a japanese language DLC pack for the naruto fanboys... what about AT LEAST a predator DLC pack for the CONSOLE FAR CRY FANS!?!? it's so much more of a sensible request.

I will be really disappointed if far cry 2 stays big for a couple of months and then everyone goes back to halo and COD4 again.. people only just stopped playing the last one when halo came out.. Don't drown yourself for a stupid mistake far cry... even if you are massive and beautiful
