Well, I think it depend if they could fix majority of isues and give to FC-2 multiplayer tool to run and control servers much better in FarCRy2. If they would be able to do that, I will buy FC-3 as well

I would buy Farcry 3. I love all the Farcry games(never played the wii version though
 ). I also still love Farcry 2 despite its flaws. |

Did i miss an announcement somewhere about anyone making FC3? I know there's been a wishlist here for ages, but i don't remember seeing something definate about it.

Far Cry 3 would be awsome! Then it is the Far Cry trilogy, you can't stop with only two games UBI!

Far Cry2 was a very immersive awesome unique experience! I would love to see a Far Cry 3.
The haters can't see how they broke new grounds in FPS genre. Far Cry 3 will just be ever better. |

I'll have to take a strong look at the game before purchase, but I love a new FPS game anyway so I'll probably just buy it.

If anyones wondering the reason for all this positive feedback is because most of the players have given up on everything about FC2 (including these forums) and all thats left is the noobs and the people who actually thought it was a good game. But I can assume as soon as they announce far cry 3 the forums will be filled with so much hate that barely anyone will be willing to buy it. Ill definately do my part. But by all means, go ahead and buy it so you can just be disappointed and relaize how stupid youve been, just like everyone else.
There was some chatter months ago about far cry 3. Only that it will still be set in Africa. |

Yeah, you will be whining when Farcry 3 comes out because you will have bought it to. We have heard it all before. "Im never gonna buy Ubi games again", etc. People always say that and then when the next big Ubi game comes out they come out and say the same things again. Get over it, accept some responsiblity for your purchase and move on. ...end rant |

I have been defending Ubi with that very statement for a long time now. They gave us a new, groundbreaking way of playing an FPS. Of course its going to be buggy! Just wait for the patch. Personally, my single player experience was fun. I had one random crash, and I was experimenting with new DIMM. I built my puter myself btw. Now the MP could use some work. I could list what we need here, but thats been done thousands of times by now. I would definitely buy FC3, especially if it has a map editor too JUST DONT GO 3RD PERSON ON US UBI.  |

If they could EVER get this update out and have it work good I would be completely happy.
Like You said Agent00Kevin in another thread.This game has so much potential for years.I would be one of the people sticking around. I still may be here for the long haul(not Sure),But it sure would be nice to have this game more the way we all want and deserve(As in with the UPDATE that we have been waiting forever to recieve!!!). I sure hope they didn't ditch the update. JUST LET US KNOW UBISOFT!!! If an update never comes and they leave us hanging for nothing.I will probably be the last one to get Fc3 unless EVERYBODY says its realy REALY GOOD and better polished before release. It isnt the first time I have had to wait more than half a year for a patch. Any of you play Test Drive Unlimited on pc? It had a corrupt save problem as well and it took them months and months, but eventually the patch did come out. Of course that is a different company but I am hoping that Ubi will surprise us one of these days with the fabled update we want so much just like Atari did for TDU. |

Yup i have shelfed this game cause of this patch not coming out yet. I havnt had any problems with the save game bug as i dont play SP but was realy looking forward to the new hardcore mode and possible new and improved MP feature. Dont get me wrong i love the game and play it from time to time but decided to shelf it and play other things whie waiting on the patch .As for FC3, i am pretty sure with all the fuse here about FC2 FC3 will be much better and very amazing no matter what theme they go with next and i wil definitely be pre ordering it once its been announced .----------------------------------- 24 Custom Maps Published [PC] - Search by map name FuRiouS Or Download them here. |
