Excellent news about Far Cry 2! Are 360 & PS3 versions planned?

I'm sure it will be on 360, probably a few months after it comes out on PC. At least, that's how it happened last time. As for PS3, I have no idea.

It will be on PS3 & X360 if it goes to consoles. It will not be exclusive to either.

Hate playing FPS on PC? PC always has best stuff.

just want a xbox 360 version.

i hope it will be out on 360 it will probably be like brim town said a little later as for ps3 i doubt it will even be released on that console its gonna be awesome

Well, I don't really care. But since it's Ubi. Its a big chance its on the 360 as well. Maybe not at PC launch, but eventually. To be honest, same goes for PS3. (Getting my 42" 1080p 8th gen plasma tv too day 8th gen don't burn the image, in case you didn't know that)

Last time was 18months after the PC release, and as noted it was a very different game...
That duration probably took into account a learning curve for Montreal after Crytek changed publisher.

Will be interesting to see how UBI approach this.

I'm pleased that they are focusing on PC at this stage, but given the potential volumes I would be amazed if it doesnt get ported to the 2 big console platforms at some point.

There's no way they they would pass up the fan base they've established already, after all it's all about the $.

Just curious - what other projects is Ubisoft Montreal working on, at least that we know of? We have to figure that they don't have an unlimited staff, and probably have several major projects going on.

Now PC has Crysis and Far Cry 2 exclusive to it.
But Im so sure that it will go to consoles. If not, ubi will you marry me?

They always bring games out on pc first, to be honest i doubt we will c it on 360 til april next year at the soonest.

i hope that at least the 360 version comes out, also not to get off topic, but does farcry 2 going to use the crytek2 engine and does this game have anything to do with the evolution series?

I'd like to see it on 360. I bought Instincts, Evolution & Predator at release. I was never really a fan of Predator mode. I enjoyed regular multiplayer more than anything. I still play it to date.

it sould be on PC cos they are easier controls, it should be on xbox AND 360 because most of the Far cry games are on those The Wii far cry is also fairly good altho cheatplanet gave it a **** review (cheatplanet staff are Deleted.... )

They're working on Assassin's Creed also at the moment.

ya i have nothing at all against PC ...i just have a 360...i also have a PC but its not souped up so it probably couldn't handle FC2 so i REALLY hope to see it make a return to 360...as you guys stated they have already established a huge fan base with the instincts storyline and would make a alot of money if they make that move
