I'd really like it if you released a patch - if you're even working on another patch - that eliminates the ability to ban other players. I don't mind there being votes to ban players, and get a general vote and majority opinion, but for a host to ban a player based on his or her rank, based on how good the player is, etc., is ridiculous and extremely frustrating.

Agreed. I've been banned from games by hosts just for doing well on the opposing team. Had one guy banned his own entire team at the start of the match and fought eight people himself on capture the diamond.

I also hate the way the vote to ban plays out. I'm sick of people walking infront of my jeep and getting mown down then voting to ban me - and often succeeding. The only option to avoid it is get a decent few kills so your team might value you a bit more.

the ban feature is a must have to get rid of team killers.Even w/ friendly fire off they can still kill you w/ flame throwers and nades. Farcry Preditor didn't have it and one kid cold ruin game for everybody. I suggest not playing ranked, only trouble makers get banned from 'Player' matches.

Than the host should only have the opportunity to ban someone, IF that guy teamkilled somebody...

banning players for teamkills only would be great be coz i cant count the amount of times i have been baned from a match before it even started.

awol that was more than likely the host making room for a friend who wanted into the room, its better to be banned in the lobby than to waste 14 minutes in a match and get banned cus you are winning, or getting banned 10 seconds after you killed the host...

but ultimately the ability to ban is a must, whether its team killers, racists, annoying kids singing/screaming into their mic, and my personal favorite is people telling me how to host my room. of those the game cant detect most of the problems, so the only able to ban after a teamkill wont really work.

do some hosts cheat and abuse the ban certainly, but in my opinion and experience most hosts aren't jerks with it,

when in doubt host your own room and you dont have to worry about getting banned and you can refuse to ban anyone all you like

thats the biggest problem with FCIP is you cant get rid of a nuisance player all you can do is close the room and hope they dont find their way back in.

being banned from a match by players that want to make room for their friends is fine i accept that having done it my self but when im banned from a match that only has 2 players in it that is what i hate. and theres no need to ban kids who sing/scream into their headsets just mute them . plus i agree with rsh211224 banning players should be a vote option not just left upto the host.

muting them doesnt teach them their behavior is unacceptable, a warning to quit it followed by a ban just might, and i know it will prevent others from having to listen to/put up with that crap in my room.

think of a room like a club, someone has to have the ability to remove unwanted disturbances from the club, thats why they have bouncers.

and having to put everything to a vote not only takes up space on the screen, it also brings in the problem of on a team game not everyone knows what a player did to deserve a ban, i've had people vote to ban me after walking infront of my moving vehicle and getting killed. people on the opposite team have no idea the circumstances. then what happens is you get the retaliatory voting, x voted to ban y, the vote didnt pass now y votes to ban x etc etc etc... which is again a waste of time and takes up space on the screen.

There should be a cap on the banning like for example a vote will apear if a team player has killed the same team player 5 times or more in a single match, not just 1 kill cause after all accidents do happen! Another way to stop this is to make it to where u cannot kill ur own teammates regardless of what u do. The host that ban just cause they want to win is just rediculas and very annoying who gives a rats behind about winning some of us just want to have fun and get our trophies and enjoy are game play i dont know bout all u all but i could care less if u have 3 or 5000000 consecutive wins it dont mean crap with the banning feature just shows how much u ban.The best way to fix all this i think is to either edit the banning to be very spacific without control of just 1 person or put a how many times u banned some 1 stat up or just get rid of it and put a report some 1 for.......

a report someone for their behavior is already in place and it really does nothing to immediately solve the problem.

also the kill one person on your own team "x" number of times option means you will just have someone shooting different people.

and in player matches you can turn friendly fire off, but having it on in ranked means you have to be more careful rather then just spraying bullets everywhere. most of the time i think friendly fire is a good thing it makes it more fun/realistic.

and i dunno about you but the last thing i want to see is that damn vote screen taking up half my view while im trying to kill someone before they can shoot me. let alone having to go into the menu and vote.

just host your own room or find one of the many hosts who dont cheat cus i know there are alot of them out there. i've played with a bunch of them
