I know the answer is probably really obvious, but I would really appreciate some help. Whatever I try, I can't get the first diamonds in the slaughterhouse (tutorial). I track them down and can see them inside the train carriage, but I just can't physically get to them. Jumping and climbing don't seem to work.

there is a little wooden car on the other side of the train i think, jump on it, then in the train. If you are in the train and there is something in your way to get to the diamond, take out your machette and hit the stuff a bit. It will brake down.

Thanks. I had tried that - in fact I even tried to use a car to get onto the cart! - but my jump is so feeble I couldn't manage it. I'll have another go!

Had another go, but no joy. I'm quite used to doing this kind of thing in games, but I've never had a character with such a feeble jump!
I've tried standing, walking sprinting but it makes no difference. I'd guess its a vertical jump of about 12" regardless. This has pretty much got me stumped. Thanks for the help though

There's two sides to the railcar. One side opens onto the ground, the other side opens onto a train platform. It's possible to jump into the railcar from the train platform side.

Press jump while walking forward, don't stop walking forward or you'll just be jumping up and down in place.

Zbobg - thanks a lot; I was on the verge of giving up. I think that my graphic settings were too high which made it almost impossible to co-ord jump.
