I Mainly only got in to Far cry Once it came out on Consol... Mainly for its Good Online Play.

Also... Map Maker was a big Bonus, Since you would hardly every place a map twice unless it was a highly good map to play ( Like Ones i use to make =P )

But havnt played Far cry since the Spring now... So looking forward to begin a new Far cry game.

Playing FC till 5am in the morning, testing servers over and over again and having good fun.

Yeah i'm more for the Console side so will be hoping-fingers crossed that something filters through to us sometime.

My live gametag is FALLEN CHAMP but I made the mistake of just throwing a silly name in when I joined these forums.

I made a ton of friends on Xbox Live with FarCry and it's by far the game I play most, as there are very few console games with proper editing options.

I look forward to seeing some old faces again and seeing new people also take to the game.

If this is to be PC only then I guess I will just have to get myself an all singing all dancing PC to play the game.

Hello old chums, good to see that some of you survived the Farcry bug and are still alive and well.

For myself i started playing CSS and got quite good. Then the evil WOW grabbed me by the knackers and i did not play any other game for 2 entire years. Luckily i broke that addiction and now play a little bit of everything and amazingly i game for fun these days.

I am certainly looking forward to FC2 and it looks like Ubi have high ambitions with the gameplay so lets hope they pull it off.

I have played a certain beta of a upcoming game with Cry in the title (no idea what the rest of its name is though) and i cannot really say anything else because i signed an NDA. Doubt i will stop playing CSS for a while because nothing on the close horizon really interests me in the mp department.

Hope you all have fun with whatever games you play. May the netcode be designed by pros and not monkeys.

I'm in Afghanistan, playing soldier for real.

I first downloaded the Farcry demo before enlisting in the United States military. I played the demo for a solid month, finding new ways to infiltrate those islands each time I played. My favorite moment in the demo was when I decided to not go into the final bunker, and I went down to those ships patrolling the harbors and blew everybody up before completing the mission. Now that was fun!

I bought the full game at the PX when I graduated basic, and had a great time playing it until deploying to Afghanistan.

Now I eagerly plan going home to play Farcry2 and Crysis, as well as Supreme Commander. These are fun times for gaming.

The blood comes in front of my own head instead of the enemies so that i can't see anything :/ same with everything else... sand and stuff... But I made it : ) took 3days first time.
ok.. that's a lie.. fist time i played i got scared as hell when those trigeons started to jump at me :O they ware ****ing immortal :S

fitting I'm six months behind on this thread, but alas...I quit FC cold turkey and had a co-worker introduce me to WoW. Been playing it for about a year+.

Picked up CoD4 last week and I gotta say, the MP is NICE! It's like BF2 and CSS with the same style game modes...you gotta try it out if you like either of those games.

Can't wait for an Assault Mod for Crysis...my god PowerStruggle sux so bad....I need an effing flag to cap! I miss Godlike flag caps with a pistol...MMMMMMMMMMM

Well, I have been playing a lot of Farcry Predator and of course making killer maps. Can't wait for Farcry 2 and hopefully a better editor.

of course, as far as "farcry mapmaking" goes, i went offline for a good 5 months, but within the last week i've returned to the game and am looking forward to building a few final maps, -as a good note going into facry 2. everybody remebers the chronic aka waxymasterpimp. the one dude that caused all of the chaos in the farcry world.

i just got bored with this game.(fcpred for 360) half of it because of the firmilar and overly used mapmaker the other half due to the lack of fellow serious farcry mapakers in the community.

i also complety cleared every farcry friend off my friends list with an exception of 4 people.

but
now im back, ill never be into mapmaking the same way but hopefully i can make a few last bits.



ANYONE COULD SEND ME A FR and check out some of my maps new and old, some of my new map plans include a UFO attack, a wild west, a medivel map with a dragon, and my newest additions to my map collection The Pharoahs Curse X, an Egypt map. and the final version of StarShip X, a galactic alien space cruser

I have been leading the OS|Clan through several games after Farcry, the most recent and dissapointing of which woould have to be Crysis. Great graphics, poor game. Nothing compared to FC on a fun basis. Also no support and a practically non-existent community of spoiled rotten kids. Oh well, Farcry 2 will be great I'm sure as well as looking good. Made in Canada like me too!
