actually coops I was using a second account(was done along time ago when I first started playing farcry)I had tried to sign in with my account that I normally use but it was refusing it and while I was trying to get it to work I stumbled across my old account so I used it.If u want u can erase the old l437923 account as I finally got the slayersofadmin account to work.It had said something about updating my profile as it wasnt up to security standards?funny u would think the oldest account wouldnt work either.

Well I just hope it's story and gameplay are mature enough to satisfy older players and those into games with a real world feel. I think I officially fall into the "Geezer Gamer" category at 49.

After reading some of the character names I must admit I was a bit worried it would be more like Contract Jack than the "Jungle Jack" we've all come to know and love.

BTW, anyone heard if there will be lots of wildlife indigenous to Africa? It would be cool if once in a while you had to deal with Lions, Rhinos, Hippos, Cheetahs, etc. Especially if they get the sound right as per Far Cry 1. Please, no characters riding cheeths like in Harold and Kumar though. Leave that to the modding community.

I was thinking along the same lines sixgun,I think it would make the game more interesting to have the animals that you would encounter in Africa or whatever locale they are using,including snakes(poisonous and constrictors)even poisonous(dangerous) plants,insects,and other reptiles.It would make it even more realistic.Of course I have no idea what they are capable of with either cryengine1 or cryengine2 or whatever engine they decide to use,actually I know nothing about modding or mapping.I ahve a little knowledge of nothing,just things I have learned from others or trial and error.

I have every single Far Cry game except for Vengeance and Instincts. I recently got Instincts for 360. It isn't that good...The multiplayer is good though. I found Predator too bland for me (plain weapon sounds, no trigens, too lenear and average graphics for next gen console).

Well, you can safely say that I'm still a Far Cry noob. I've been playing FC for only six months now, but it's the best freakin' FPS game I've played in years. (Well, besides HL2 and HL2E1).

FC has been my first online experience and I loved it so much, I even joined a clan. So, you can still find me around the TAW servers on a regular basis.

I am totally excited about Far Cry 2. At first, I had given up hope and concentrated on the release of Crysis. Imagine my surprise, when I heard the announcement about FC2.

Can we add the word "Crysis" to the disallowed words on the forum pls?
