Here is the list of fixes and additions within the latest Ps3 patch:

• Fix: Freeze 10 seconds every minute with some dns servers
  
• Fix: Freeze with exclusive content with some dns servers

Multiplayer

• Add: Multiplayer Home launch support (will be available once Home has been released)
  
• Fix: multiplayer excessive or infinite loading time
  
• Fix: multiplayer synchronisation problems
  
• Fix: empty disconnection dialog box
  
• Fix: multiplayer user interface issues (kill messages missing, diamond icon on killed players, ...)
  
• Change: peer to peer map download strategy to increase the download speed
  
• Fix: potential problems with some additional content
  
• Change : Ranked games can now start if the player max is attained and everybody but the host is ready
  
• Fix : Ranked QuickMatch is no more trying to connect to already started sessions

Singleplayer

• Fix: mortar allowing the character to go through walls
  
• Fix: Gold AK missing
  
• Fix: Environment not reset correctly
  
• Fix: Control lost when buddy dying in your hand
  
• Fix: Saving on specific locations or with specific timing can be incorrect
  
• Fix: Desert effect staying permanently
  
• Fix: Statistics incorrect
  
• Fix: Text errors

Editor

• Fix: few snapping problems
  
• Fix: crash with user abuse with roads
  

Please feel free to feedback on the patch in this thread so we can easily collect it.

We are aware of stats being reset and achievements lost and are investigating the issue.

Hope multiplayer becomes a little more active and a little more stable

i hope the stats get fixed cus seems i will be playing this game for a while after cod5 has dissapointed me badly on his ugly graphics

Please please please fix the controls. PC users can sprint and turn at the same time... PS3 users can't and it feels awkward to be forced to run in a straight line. And please add acceleration settings so I can adjust the max speed of the turn acceleration. It's too fast right now. Feels unbalanced and awkward, moving the analog stick and having it go from a slow turn to a way too fast turn. I try lowering the sensitivity but it doesn't fix the problem because the turn acceleration still kicks in with an unbalanced over-acceleration.

Running in FarCry 2 makes me sick, the screen gets all blurry and shaky. And I agree the controls are bad. I haven't downloaded the patch but I am disappointed with the small improvements, though that was expected.

Hello, has the widescreen FOV been fixed in this patch ? i've only played the game twice & both times got a migraine within 45 minutes. This also happened with Bioshock, i'm rather suprised the developers made the same mistake again to be honest & hope this has now been corrected otherwise its unplayable.

does this mean the 88% percent bug issue is fixed on ps3.... ?? where you can't get in the door downloading update as i send this message cant wait!

Gah useless update still can't even open the door to complete the game so lame..... why don't you look at some of the posts that are major here was link and check the amount of players who have the same problem.

I'm sure they had started on these fixes before they had received any of our feedback. Hopefully the next patch will cover some of our requested fixes... I just hope it doesn't take too long.

The gimped widescreen FOV and messed up controls are killing the fun.

(I personally like the blurred sprint view)

Completely forgot about the iffy accelerated turning (been a while since i played it).

its stupid though there doing minor bug solveing when the major ones when you cant progress or do anything is still there thats what really gets on my nerves.... why do the small bugs that dont effect the gameplay much and leave the major ones to last.... shouldnt it be other way round to get players issues sorted...

are europeans the only ones to be able to download this patch? I live in the U.S and i haven't been able to download it.

im new 2 the game started yesterday, played 6 hours straight and got promoted to rank 5 i came back on this afternoon and all my stats have gone? i played more than 1 game and won more than 1 game it has all changed from my last nights stats is this part of the update that i did this morning because nothin has been right since then i'm not rankin at 1 when i was 5 last night? ive now been promoted again to rank 3 will it still b there in the mornin or am i gonna have 2 chew the game up and send it back 2 y'all lol j/k

I'm in the UK but have a US version of the game & i don't see the latest update either.

dammit why is it taking so long for the U.S to get the update? (I know i won't get a answer for this question.)

Has the sound occasionally cutting out on gun sounds been fixed?

Also, as others have mentioned, weird/annoying acceleration to the turning controls.

Does anybody know, if it is possible to download patch for ps3 via computer, like system update, for example? I have just mobile laptop internet connection. Ps3 is offline. Help, please, every answer will be appreciated.
