I have a couple of complaints
1. the SAW is quite over powered in fact there is little reason to use any other gun. 2. the amount of rounds it takes to kill any one with any weapon is far too high when the hits are body shots. 3. i would like an indication in the pre game lobby of whether it is hardcore mode or normal mode dont get me wrong i think far cry 2 is great however i find these issues bring down the multiplayer game play |

I agree about the saw, but thats because ive been using it since day one.
Are you high? takes less than 10 bullets for any decent gun in this game to kill, cept mp5 mac ten and uzi and makarovs. everything else is 10 or less. there is a big red target with a bullet penetrating it, if thats showing on your pre game lobby than it is hardcore. if not than its not. |

i wouldnt say the saw is OVER powered i think it tends to get lucky with random headshots tho. but i suppose when you are spraying the amount of lead that gun does you are bound to get lucky.
as far as the number of hits it takes to kill someone, i dunno what you are talking about unless you are playing in non hardcore matches. hardcore you can generally drop someone with about 5 shots (solid body shots) from a machine gun, same with a pistol, and most of the sniper weapons are 1 shot now depending on placement. and yea i dunno how you managed to miss the big red hardcore symbol in the lobby.... I think he meant on the list before joining a game, not the lobby, about seeing the hardcore mode.
The weapons only seem balanced if you sneak up on someone. If you start shooting two seconds before your enemy does, half the time you'll still lose, and that's when the ridiculousness becomes apparent. As for the SAW, I think its more difficult to see a target using the iron sights than it is on most other guns, and without aiming its accuracy could be better. I prefer the PKM to the SAW anyway. |

I agree.
In the "list before joining a game" you should see the name of the host too, so you can avoid the "kickers & quitters". (If there was the much needed "balanced-teams" option, it should also be displayed, but...) Think in "hardcore", the number of hits you need is ok, and the "weapon-balancing" isn't so bad either. For FC3-MP: please watch the MP of KILLZONE2 and copy it! (I like FC2 much better as a game, but MP in KZ2 is almost perfect.) |

I think Killzone 2's multiplayer feels very generic. Its too irrelevant in terms of what you can do as one player in a single spawn. If FC3 was made more realistic, especially with the hit points, it would be very unique.

Yup.
Especially in a 32 tdm on a small map, it's "suicide mission" all the time. Like i said: i like FC2 MUCH better, it was more about the OPTIONS you have in KZ2-MP. (Number of players, weapons etc.) Not to mention your account isn't always disconnected after a game, so you can play a few games straight without endless waiting & searching. I also find the "Rank-" and "rewardsystem" more motivating. |

Yeah, the weapons customizing system on KZ2 is great, and it loads a lot faster. Although sometimes I cannot log in to the network for some reason.

The match search feature ****es me off. Every ranked game I play the loading screen stays up for five minuites afterward then says "match search failed" and goes back to the title screen
Id agree, too the SAW is overpowered, and its range is too long. |
