I have now produced all the maps that i set out to make and decided that playing them with other people might just be a fun time. So, i send out some invites, and when they get to my room the maps are downloading from the host and not from the server, which tends to make everyone quit. any ideas on why this is happening and weather or not it can be fixed?

make sure u have the right version published, like if you have 2 versions of the same map (say one had a spawn point issue or something) and you fixed it but did a "save as" instead of save, you will have 2 versions of the same map, and then if you have version 1 on the server, and load version 2 into the match options players will have to dl from your HD cus version 2 isnt published.
thats my best guess as to what may be happening, when in doubt maybe try deleting the maps from the server and republishing them, also maybe go thru your HD for duplicate maps and clean em up if you have any. hope that works out for ya [360 gamertag chrisisbored24 ] |

turns out, when i went back and fixed the small issues i was suppose to delete them from the server and then re-publish the newly saved map. i was told it automatically updated, kinda dumb to think it could...thanks guys, good sh**
